Great vid. The passion fruit ice course was only the palate cleanser. Don’t think it was a good course. Once the tongue is cleaned you can enjoy the entree better…..I think.

Certainly looking forward to the stay in that suite! We were on the Regent Explorer just pre-COVID and are definitely Regent fans!

Your welcome!! We have done Monaco to Athens on the Explorer, so you should have a great time! Our butler was Leslie, and we did have him do the caviar service and a course by course meal in later videos. I will have a more detailed room and ship tour in my next video.

We are going to try a 7 night on Crystal Miami - Bahamas - Miami in March; we have heard good things. Then during the summer, probably the same time as you, we are doing the Baltic and British Isles (back-to-back) on Regent Voyager. Would like to try Oceania sometime after that; we have heard that the food is the best at sea!

@@DJTravels Sounds great on your Crystal cruise in March! Check out the KZbin videos on the upcoming “Oceania Vista”… pretty impressive! Also if you haven’t tried any of the new Silversea ships, might be something to consider. Very similar to Regent, ultra all inclusive, etc. Outstanding service and great suites! The new “Silver Dawn” comes out in March 2022 I think. We would rank our top 3 lines as Regent, Silversea, and Seabourn.

The Regent Seven Seas experience is atop my bucket list and your boarding video made me feel as if I were right there with you both. I’ve wondered what the small terminal the luxury cruise lines use in Miami is like and now I know. The Splendour is a beautiful vessel and you had a stunning suite. Glad you enjoyed it! Regent is a great cruise line. Much more quiet and reserved when compared to the larger ships. Not as many activities, but if you want to eat well and relax, this is the line for you!

My Caribbean cruise on Splendor is just 3 weeks away so I’ve been watching your videos again. What is the tender drill like these days? I’ve heard that on some cruise lines you watch a video in your stateroom and then go to your assigned station to sign it. That’s it. In a couple of days I can log onto my Regent account and view a video. I’m hoping that’s the one. I know my 2017 Regent cruise drill did not require us to wear the life preserver to our muster station. That was a relief.

I think you meant muster drill. If so, watch the video that they send and do your online boarding pass stuff a couple of days before. All you have to do after you check in is go to the muster station on your room/Id card, and they check you off in right then and there. No hastle!

Because we had a credit from a cruise cancelled due to Covid, we booked this one directly through Regent. We have another coming up in August (fingers crossed), that we booked though Costco Travel. Same cost, but Costco will give you onboard credits and a Costco gift card. Usually adds up to about 2-3% of the total cruise cost.
