I always thought that the echoes in dub where the eq changes on each repeat was maybe the echo going into a phaser, but I could never get it sounding quite right... Looks like wah is the way to go.

Greetings! I am begginer guitar player and love reggae music. Following your advice, I am using the RP 360 XP and also using a tele squier but still not getting the same sound like yours. Please allow me to have couple questions: are you using the pre set up effects from digitech or you customized one? If you customized can you share how you made it? Thank you.

Greetings! I am a begginer guitar player and love reggae music. Following your advices I purchased the RP 360 XP and also using a tele squier. I get the delay (2-tap delay) but still not close to the sound of your guitar on your videos. Please allow me to have couple questions: are you using the pre-set effects from digitech or made one and if you made it, can you share how? Thank you!

Great channel man, Ok, I got the rp360 base on your voice. But man how do you tempo match. It seams very awkward. You have to bend down, enter stomp mode, cone back up. Hold the delay stomp button, tap it then you can come back out. But if you want to chNfe present. You have to bend down select prest mode or scroll nob. No tempo control or bpm, only milli second. Am I missing something, is there an easier way? I’m feeling like I should sell it and get a pedal direct tap tempo. Thanks

Have you thought about using the Nexus Editor to save copies of your RP360 patches and uploading them?

awesome. Whats the most common 1/8 note delay or 1/8dotted delay?
@all_mesa_man9226 жыл бұрын
to expand, You need to set the delay to do eighth note triplets (or 16th notes, different but still cool dub sound). Like OP said, some delays have that setting as a tap subdivision, but for the most part you need to just find it. Again, eighth note triplets (NOT the same as a dotted anything) are where you want to be. I've heard some dotted eight reggae delay and it sounds hella weird

but HTPR is using a dual delay in this video? something I'd never tried but it sounds great!

For reggae I usually prefer triplet delay settings. 1/4 or 1/8

How To Play Reggae where can I find it?

When you are playing rhythm is the delay actually making the upstroke sound? So delay would be set to sixteenth notes? Thanks for all you do!

Ah...I see you say in the description!

Yeah you could use as a slab back! The guitarist that played for Matisyahu use to do this a lot!

love this. are you palm muting the notes that sound muted, or are you "soft pressing" the fret board? Ill need to try that! I made up that term by the way, that's how i could think to describe it. thanking you.
