Was lucky to meet and become friend with Jacob in 1980 just before he past away. I was 15 year old and I sang on his last album New Age music in compass point studio in Nassau. I flew in a private plane with him, Chris and Nathalie. And we landed in Kingston high on ganja cake ! That’s how my life took a turn when I felt in love with jamaica its people and its culture. I was watching him and Bob playing football in tuff gong yard. I can say Jacob as been a mentor and my greatest inspiration. That trip changed my life. Now I live between France and Jamaica, and I don’t think this would have happen without that Mister ‘Every thing is great “ giant Killer Miller… He lives forever through his music and legacy. I wish more kids in Jamaica knew about their culture and all the great artists that reggae music has produced, making history and changing the sound of world ‘s music forever ! Bless and love to all reggae lovers around the earth. Never forget ‘ Each one , teach one )many but one humanity

Jacob Miller's voice also spread right through to the South Pacific. We knew him when we were little and saw him first time on TVs. At the time KZbin was not popular. I still cherish his songs up to today. R.I.P. Watching all the way from Vanuatu

Jacob also recorded vocals on a Tune for the world famous Fania All Stars. The first time I met Inner circle Jacob was smoking from a chalice. Chris Blackwell was introducing us, Jacob blew out the smoke he disappeared in it. When the smoke cleared Jacob handed me the chalice he said smoke from the chalice and feel no malice and soon be in the place with Alice. I fell to the floor laughing we became best friends for too short a time. He came to my mom’s house for an Italian dinner With Chris. My mother said to Jacob what kind of hair is that ? He said them dreadlocks Miss Masucci in Jamaica the Rasta man grows then to the ground but the bug eat them up to the ankles. Then my mom started to laugh. He was one of a kind. Been missing him for years. 0:30 0:30 😊

It is true that on the internet and in booklets the year 1952 is often mentioned as the year of birth of Jacob Miller. According to his grave stone he was born in 1954, which would mean that he was 25, almost 26, at the time of his death. The single "Let me love you (a.k.a. Love is the message)" for Coxsone was in early 1968 before the breaking of his voice, which makes it even more likely that he was 13 (almost 14) and not 15 (almost 16) during that time.

Que o criador dos céus e da terra ( ETERNO) tenha tido misericórdia do cantor Jacob Miller e dado chance para pedir perdão dos seus pecados antes de morrer nesse acidente para que o mesmo fosse salvo. ( Morar eternamente no céu)
