I cannot imagine the part of Reggie's wife being played by any person. She is absolutely stunning and flawless. I read the book many years ago & Emily is played just as I imagined. I didn’t watch the movie but was interested why she killed herself after seeing this video. I read that in the movie their marriage falls apart after he beats her and rapes her. Apparently in real life he was never physically violent towards her. It was more psychological ... he threatened to kill her and her family and would even drip his own blood all over her when she was sleeping bc she was afraid of blood. He was a real psycho in real life. He also tried to rape her brother once (he was bisexual in real life).

CIA Well from what I read ... in real life, it’s true that Reggie was seen as less intimating but both brothers were extremely violent and mentally unstable. They were both convinced murderers and lifetime killers. So in my opinion both are psychos. Just that one is more psycho than the other one. Also both were bisexual ... while Ronald predominantly homosexual. And according to Author John Pearson who had interviewed them both, apparently the brothers had an incestuous relationship while growing up. According to him Ronald has confessed this family secret in one of their conversations. Apparently since the brothers didn’t want their enemies to find out about their sexuality, since it would have been seen as weakness, the brothers had even s*x with each other in the early years of their ,,criminal careers“. Also Ronald was never openly gay as it was presented in the movie. The Sexuality of the brothers was known for some time already, but I just found out recently about the claim of that Author and wanted to add this information here.

Since she young naive so had no choice say yes. She killed herself after she got raped too. So it triggered it. Not even report him. Cuz he paid off that try put him behind bars. She would never married him if the court didn't dissmiss the case he paid them off by having picture of these people was involved. She told if he is innocent she will marry him. Such dumb girl. She should trust her mother. Her brother was no man either to protect her. He was coward scard of him. Scard or not a Brother would risk their own life to protect their sisters. I guess he was no santino corleone (godfather) that is how a brother act if anyone raise hands on their sister.

Even members of Frances family said that Reggie would never have done that. Movies put scenes in to add more of a dramatic feel. Do your research.

She was very fragile. She loved him and dreamed a life but it didn't went that way unfortunately. He too loved her and wanted her back but for her it became very difficult because she do love him but don't want to get back with him because she feared this might break her heart by know his dark side. Reg wasn't that monster. He too had a loving side which he showed her earlier, the thing that made her fall in love with him. But not every romantic story always end happily, one of that was their's. She find no other way to cop up with everything she couldn't be happier with him and wasn't able to live with him so she decided to take her own life, an ultimate solution that can put an end to her sadness.

I read that in real life when Reggie went to prison for murder a woman told Reggie about God while he was in prison and he became a born again christian. He kept a picture of her and her son in his cell and even paid their rent. When she would read the bible to him his favorite story was when the thief on a cross next to Jesus asked Jesus to remember him in heaven and Jesus said, "Today you will be with me in paradise."
