Maybe those actual USC fans cared more about integrity, the program, the school, and the TEAM more than one single player - it’s likely why WE were pissed as hell and could care less about Bush and his Heisman. NEVER once heard Bush voice opposition against USC getting punished the way we did and say “come after me not the school”.

But then wouldn't it mean the sanctions the NCAA put on USC is unwarranted and unjustified? Therefore the NCAA should receive some type of consequences for ruining USC for decades. Other than that I'm ecstatic Reggie is getting his much deserved Heisman back. He proved it on the field and no one can say otherwise. Anyone who watched him played can see it as clear as day Reggie earned it.

I used to argue with actual Trojan fans about Reggie deserving the Heisman back. I could not fathom how many Trojan "fans" caved and bowed down to the NCAA and the rest of college football. Absolute insanity that we had to put up with this BS for so long. Like you Gabe, i grew up going to the Coli and watching Reggie Bush dominate. I remember him reversing field against Hawaii and Leinart Absolutely leveled a linebacker. The Coli went nuts!!!
