I love how modern techniques and programming can benefit new games for old consoles like this, I mean, it's available on modern platforms and that's cool, but also you can play this on a Genesis and besides the obvious controller difference, it looks nearly identical to the PS4/Xbox One versions and that's freaking awesome!

@@MetalJesusRocks I actually prefer the 3-button setup, and that's what the game was designed around, so it might be worth a go. :) It then plays more like Shock Troopers, although you can also rotate your shot angle similar to Forgotten Worlds, Midnight Resistance and Skeleton Krew. :)

Great game. You guys should definitely get Tanzer and Ultracore. They are both recently released Mega Drive/Genesis games. Ultracore got a Switch and PS4 port too.

Local multiplayer should still be a thing, it's awesome. Also, if you're interested and don't already know, there was actually a way to play SNES/Genesis online back in the day with a device called the XBAND.

I found swapping the roll and grenade buttons helped me out a lot. Also you are invincible when you roll so always use it in tight situations, especially when facing a boss (it makes the first boss much easier)

When playing Xeno Crisis on the Sega Genesis, use the AsciiPad SG-6 Controller (think twin-stick controls). It has four face buttons (like SNES Controller) for directional shooting and shoulder buttons for grenades & the evade roll.

you guys might like General Chaos for the Genesis. I have smash tv, smash tv on genesis and total carnage on snes are a couple of my favs. my fav genesis game is rocknroll racing. if you havent played general chaos, check it out. its about 15.00 on ebay.
