Im sorry. How are ex- NBA players kinda dumb. Doncic was only All-NBA on the offensive end. He was THE EPITOME OF LAZY on the defensive end. Now Lakers have 2 LAZY defenders in their starting 5. It was bad enough LeCrutch walks back on defense but with Doncic now its Lakers playing defense with 3 players on the floor. 😂

Jimmy Butler only takes 1 5 3 pointer a game and onky hits 1/ 2 a 3 pointer a game.He is not a volume shooter. Luka hist 3.4 per gane

You completely ignored the biggest problem with Butler which isn't his game, it's the drama queen Prima Donna behavior. Just look at how he turned on the Miami Heat for no good reason. He is sloppy seconds to the Warriors since they really wanted Durant first.

Glad Luka gone, now Kyrie can go ahead and fully take over, way better player anyway. No longer has to feel left back, Dallas does have to get its players to step up and really commit offensively and defensively. Luka at Lakers lets see the chemistry first in real ball games and see what happens and then what adjustments get made and then assess. Same with Dallas bc Kyrie going to have to play every role and really get people involved. Luka can't be doing all that crying in LA to the ref's nor that very slow azzz running up and down the court. Lakers run, not this slow drag up the court.

Both GMs, made strategic moves. People criticized Nico for the trade, but I believe Nico was very smart for trading Luka for AD. Nico knows that with Luka, he will never win the championship and by offering hiim super max it will tie up the Mavericks from acquiring another great player for years to come. After 5 years, Luka will be 30 years old and the Mavericks will always still be a great team but not good enough to win the championship. Because the Mavericks is a great team during these five years, it will always have low draft picks and the Mavericks will never improve. On the other hand, by trading Luka for AD, the Mavericks have a better chance of winning the championship within 4-5 years. After that, the Mavericks will be in decline e and they will have a better chance of having high drafting picks. It 's very smart of Nico to make thus strategic trade.

Nah, you don't trade a talent like a Luka Dončić. He's the type of player that you build your team around. I think that the Dallas Mavericks will long regret getting rid of a player of the likes of a Luka Dončić.

Wrong, players like Luka born once every 10-20 years if by some miracle you manage to get one of those you try to keep him no matter what, you change EVERYTHING around him, players, coaches, front office, ... whatever is needed, but never the star that makes you win.

In 4-5 years kyrie and AD are going to be on the verge of retirement, they both have a horrible history when it comes down to injuries and now kyrie is going to have to play 40 minutes a game which will make it much worse for his body.

Lol if he was so smart. He would have gotten all 3 1sts. Austin Reaves, Max Christie and A.D.. To be even smarter, he would have opened it to the league and took the best offer... Considering A.D. has only had one decent season where he was injured all year last season.. He had 76 last year. The 5 year's before that A.D. played 56, 62, 36, 40 and 56 game's a season. Which is why he was named Street Clothes King. Aka Mr. Glassman Davis. A.D. is also a terrible 3p shooter.. wants to play the PF, but is a C.. They have no one to stretch the floor.. and now less shooters than ever and no secondary ball handler who can create at a high level.. So no dynamic scoring outside an old Kyrie either.. and Kyrie and A.D. have to close game's now... They're screwed.. had they at least gotten Austin Reaves. They'd been in a much better position. Then went out and traded Gafford for a stretch big. But Nico let Rob make it sound as if they were taking all the risks and they needed to keep Reaves.. lol had he said I need all picks and Reaves.. or no deal and walked away. Rob would have called back within the hour to say yes.. I would have also threatened to open the offer to the whole league.. Nico oddly gave the Lakers all the leverage somehow.. It's so strange that I feel as if it was a set up by the NBA.. It makes no sense.. Whether or not they wanted to pay Luka.. There was a much better trade they could have gotten from the Lakers and even better trades from any other team in the league. Who had wayyy better player's than Anthony Davis... Sorta funny the timing of all this for the Lakers.. 🤔

People are over playing this, this is not the most shocking in nba history it just was a trade to send out of shape Luka to another team Dallas didn't want to play this out like New Orlean did with Zion. Dallas won with this trade for trying to do something now, Luka don't play no defense always won't the ball like chuck said and he was right. I don't believe Luka and Lebron going to be a good fit with each other because Labron aint going for that laziness defense but always wont the ball, good ball players couldn't play up to Labron likings and he had them gone so Luka aint gone be no different,but this time they will have Labron gone because of his age. Am not shock or surprised by this AD and Luka trade its understandable to me.
