Just in case anyone is in any doubt about DVSA using amber lights and Follow Me to demand you pull over or follow them to a place like this (car, truck or bike) : Highway Code Rule 107: DVSA Officers may attract your attention by flashing amber lights from in front of your vehicle. They can also request you to follow them to a safe place to stop. They might make a signal from behind your car directing you to pull over to the side of the road. As a rule, they will point and use their left indicator as a gesture for you to pull over and stop. Motorists MUST obey any signals given by authorized persons. It is a motoring offence not to comply with their directions.

@@ReggiePhoto I thought Sgt Stafford's reaction was genuine and it is an exemplary interaction with the public, especially with those of us who film. Imagine if this footage was viewed by every new recruit and current Officers? For this one reaction sadly there are literally hundreds more when Officers ask if they can help and this is merely their insincere opening to a fishing expedition aimed at incriminating innocent people.
