Sarah, I'm afraid that you'll continue getting mail from them. Know why? Once in 1994 I was wandering around a drifter when I was approached by a Scientologist handing out those tracts ( like how Christians do) I made the mistake of providing my Mom's address ( I was in between apartments) and to this day Mom still gets mail from those nut job people!

I am currently in the process of watching Justin's movie and saw you in it. You have a great screen presence. Just keep working at getting acting gigs and you will be success. I really wish that the IRS would revisit the tax free status of Scientology. I am hoping that the petition will get them to do that.

WOW, Steven! I've been very intrigued with the Church of Scientology and have heard many interviews, podcasts, and docs, but this has to be one of the most eye opening. Besides libraries, wouldn't a lot of them end up in thrift shops too? I've seen used Scientology books on sale on Amazon and eBay for extremely cheap prices, what's stopping people from buying them used like any other book on the planet? And when they ask you to buy them you can't say "oh I already have a set that I bought used because I can't afford to pay $3200 for books." If it was really about diseminating the message of Scientology this would be acceptable, but it's about raising money nothing else.

Has anyone, to your knowledge, investigated the credit-card workers? Seems like it would be fairly easy to pin them down, though I suppose that the debt is insured so the banks probably don't care as long as profit is realised.

I belong to a church that I am happy with. Yes, once a year they ask if you can make a yearly pledge. If you want to you can pledge whatever you want either one time or weekly. BUT, it is not required. If you decide not to give anything so be it. Your choice. if it became a requirement to donate than I would be out of there. After this video I am afraid to go into an office anymore. Thanks for the video as more people need to see a money hungry cult at work.

They are actually not a religion they are more like an alternative therapy group. I read Dianetics when I was 10. I don't remember how I ended up with that book, but I tended to read anything I got my hands on. It held my attention and i read the whole thing. I never had contact with any members. I still haven't. Anyway, it was 40 years ago and I still remember the basic concept. it's about clearing the engrams in your brain. Till you do that, you will be under the helpless control of your brain programming. . Till then you will be miserable and a slave to brain imprinting. I wanted very badly to be audited but quickly figured out you needed money and my Catholic mother was unlikely to let me anyway. So I forgot the whole thing. Had I been older I may have sought the group out and become a Sea Org slave. I am glad I didn't/ they seem so abusive.

Back in the late 80's they showed me their promo video in a quiet little room where I sat all by myself as an open minded and intelligent young woman. The video was such a bunch of baloney that I genuinely felt sorry for the well meaning woman who had hassled me to come and watch it. It was like it had been directed by 13 year old. I got up ten minutes in to it and tried to leave. Suddenly I had about four manic cult victims standing around me being REALLY passive aggressive and trying to make me stay. They didn't stand a snowball's chance in hell.... i pushed past them and walked out. I'm incredulous as to the lack of intelligence, intuition and discernment so many people must have to willingly believe the utter crap in that video. They desperately tried to sell me books and courses even as I was walking out of the door. I could feel their anger and frustration..... kind of like a Rottweiler after having it's bone wrenched out of its jaws. Scientology is on it's way out. Thank God for the internet for exposing this low- energy, manipulative and fraudulent cult. The billions they have spent on purchasing countless properties COULD have saved the world and millions of starving or underprivileged people.... but they DO NOT care about humanity enough to part with a penny of their ill-gotten gains. Thanks to people Joe Rogan this billion year contract is about to expire.

Years ago they used to offer free "personality tests" and a couple of friends went to this place to get them. They told me they were going and I warned them against it. They went and took the tests and were told to come back in a week to have it all explained to them. Whe they did the people turned on the hard sell and were actually trying to physically keep them. Fortunately, one of the women was a big biker woman and she told me she threatened to beat the you know what out of them and bring her biker friends back later and then they finally let them go. Later some of the guys drove past the place guning their engines taking great delight in the nervous faces peeking out the window.
