Two weeks ago when I started planning some Reg G teams, I had a bunch of people telling me Eleki wasn't worth the pick, even on the Miraidon team I wanted to make. I'm glad to see proof to the contrary.

@@MsVilecat just have fun! you don't have to use what everyone else is using or what top pros are. tournament play isn't the same as ranked and casuals

Ofcourse some Pokémon will still be considered stronger/better because of a lot of different things, but even a team Regieleki could do somewhat well. I do understand of choosing the Top X Pokémon, but you should also not forget of picking a few of your favorits. To some extend you could make it work and therefor you will always have fun even if it's close. Also...interesting video, well done :)

@ regulation G forces you to use these OP Pokémon.. but I’d love to see some NUs or RUs get mixed in

After just getting masterball in reg H yesterday; I couldn't agree with you more. It's funny cause I started playing ranked in reg g where legendaries were common af and was hesitant to build a new team in reg h with the restrictions on legendaries... Turns out I loved it a lot more than I thought. No longer felt like every game was 'calyrex shadow' or 'bring your legendaries or you lost'. Actually made the game feel like pokemon, and forced people to get creative when making a team. I saw a ton of unique strategies this season which taught me a lot about the game. While I'm preparing for reg g; I'm honestly not looking forward to it as I once hoped for. When it left I was wishing for it back so I could go back to using my shiny fluttermane and the likes... But now that it's coming back I couldn't care less. Again if anything I'm sad to see reg h go. Came back to h a little too late where I didn't really get to enjoy it as much as I could've, and now it's back to abusing the meta/the mons with the highest numbers.

@ I see a lot of people feel this way and i agree honestly. Reg H allowed you to be creative and use things that were often seen as underpowered and or just not viable. Dragons could return without pressure from Fluttermane. Reg G is going to be all your nightmares in real time again.

@@lifeorb Yeahhhh. It's gunna suck cause so many heavy hitters are legal again. Despite having more options; it makes it where your choices are sorta limited cause people mostly know what works or what has the highest numbers/rates of success. Welcome back Miraidon, Calyrex, and Futtermane 😒 But I can't rag reg g too much. Reg h had a 'meta' too. People know who's strong every reg and abuse it. I was getting wiped by Ursaluna BM and Goldengho's left and right till I made some adjustments to my team... Which was mainly building around actual cores vs just bringing what I thought would counter meta picks. Still tho reg h felt different. Sure I'd run into a lot of similar teams built around UBM or Goldengho; but there was still a huge amount of variety in comparison to what reg g usually provided. But who knows; maybe people will draw up some new strategies 🤷‍♂️
