227 .... Saturday nights ... channel 4 ... NBC ... I’ve been a fan since then ... to see her go from that to Friday, Poetic Justice, Enemy of the State just to name a few to see her win her Oscar .... couldn’t be happier for her success! ... Pearl would be so proud. Lmao

I wasn't alive when 227 was on but the episodes I saw of it in syndication, I do have to say Regina has been a talent ever since she was young.

OK I like that you got spirit and I am positive one day you're actually gonna realize it's just not about the winning and certainly not about being the lead as if it were the part worth something. I suggest you not only see films and plays but *watch* them to get what the individual characters and the work behind it is actually about. I gotta be honest, right now you're just vividly looking at that huge moment in the limelight and all you're thinking is *I want that! As big as possible, so no minor parts!* And hey, I wish you all the best of luck! However what you're demonstrating is not a deep passion for acting (regardless of the austerity coming with it), so far it just sounds like narcissistic razzle dazzle. If I were your agent, the first thing I'd talk to you about is that Olivia Coleman - vivily - did not get up there by thinking that way!

I have a whole new respect for her, have always thought she was dynamic as an actress in the roles she's played over the years, but this life portrayal of herself shows what a dynamic person she is...so humble and gracious. Love Regina King!

Adelina Docanto As in any profession it is nice to know someone sees your hard work and appreciates you. Don’t be that person that attempts to takes away from others. Rejoice with them. So when your time comes in your profession you will have people happy for you, not hating on you. You reap what you sow. 😊

I think Rami Malek said it best: "People say, hey, this could happen again. I don't think that it will, and I'm gonna treat it as such." For a lot of us we only get that one moment to shine and that's it. Wise words.
