@@Torybee what you're witnessing is a woman who is a business, brand, business woman, entrepreneur, actress, comedian, motivational speaker, mother, & more being asked questions she's deserving of being paid to answer. Nothing in life is free, and to expect this woman to just give away free game is insulting. She's bring careful and mindful of what she's saying, she's on a time limit, she has other important deals to focus on that's worth millions, and this isn't it. I'm sure she had a great time but she can't make everyone in the audience successful. There's much more but that's what I took from it. Also just bc we are "blk" doesn't mean we are all the same. Most blk celebs don't ever really see each other or are friends. Social media is cool but it's the face 2 face connection that matters.

It was so interesting hearing the mindset of Regina King. She's a hoot! I've now seen Regina in a different light. But, like her mother said, "Recognize & own your greatness." Some might say, that's being cocky, but really this prevents you from doubting your self-worth. It helps you to KNOW THYSELF. I enjoyed how the alcohol relaxed Regina. I must admit, I was concerned that shot plus glass of sipping alcohol would provoke her to share too much. The interview ended in PERFECT timing. I love Regina King! She has had nothing but succession after succession! CELESTE, in the ATL 🌻

I am loving this segment with these two amazing Sisters. Sister Regina made a strong statement, her statement was I have done three "Hood" movies so I am good and she said "Jerry McGuire" entered her into Adult acting. This is the problem I have with Black movie producers like "50 cents" who produces "Hood" movies and other like him who Black Actors/Actresses in hood roles. I believe Black producers can elevate the way the outside of Blackness world see Blackness. I love Reginia King's project "One Night in Miami" it was smart, elegant and thought provoking and other Black producers can do the same, we should not expect White producers to elevate the artistry of a Black actor/actress.
