Grant Perry Season 4 was just "how can Disney make more money by plastering Frozen everywhere?" Season 5... Well... I only made it to maybe episode 9 or 10, but they were so boring. Seasons 1-3 of Once had me bingeing episodes, but I'd have to motivate myself to consider watching a season 5 episode. There were huge plot holes everywhere and the plot was so dull. The 200 characters they add every season now are just carbon copy Disney characters. In the earlier seasons, they gave the characters unique twists and personalities different from the Disney versions. And please, don't get me started on Jennifer Morrison's "Dark One" acting. I love her to death, but it was painful. They also don't focus much on Henry and Emma's relationship much which started basically everything

Brooke Winchester I know right? I agreed with what you said, I was just wondering why you personally felt the way you did about it. Don't get me wrong, I will always love this show to pieces, but I think seasons 4 and 5 are definitely the worst. If you can bring yourself to do it, I'd recommend finishing season 5 and then watch season 6 because season 6 is quite good so far. At least in my opinion. If you made it to episode 9 or 10, that means you're almost done with the Dark Emma stuff and probably have about 3 episodes of it left. The next chapter in season 5 is the Underworld. The Underworld arc is still a bit trash with somewhat bad writing, but it's quite better than the Dark Emma arc in my opinion. I won't spoil anything though.

The camera shot at 2:32 seeing them disappear is suchhh a good shot. Just like at 2:42 when you see Regina watching them drive away. Lana Parrilla did such an amazing job in this episode, and in this whole season. She truly let herself shine and her character development made her character the best of the show!

Can we just take a minute to respect how freakin selfless this was of Regina? No guilt tripping, no hate, no off-handed comments, zero disdain, nothing. She just sets them up for the best life they can possibly have and sends them off. She doesn’t just give Henry his best chance but Emma too, which not only did she not have to do that, but she didn’t have to be kind about it either. The amount of love she has for her son, how he’s literally her only reason to live, and the pain of giving him up... I don’t know that I could do that. I know she didn’t have a better option, but the fact that she did it so gracefully. She really doesn’t get enough credit for this specifically.

The show didn't do justice on emphasizing Regina's gift for Emma, essentially her happy ending. All they did was repeatedly press the fact that Emma's memories of a good life were "fake". It was not fake, it was Regina's memories tailored for Emma.

My heart broke for Regina. She loved and cared for Henry like her own. And yes, she did make mistakes, but no parent is perfect. Nonetheless she loved Henry very much and those scenes where Henry loathed her were heart breaking and quite ungrateful on Henry's part. She loved him wrong yes, but there was no need to scream at her "you're not my mom".

Til this episode (3x11) the show was on a high level. They just focused on the characters and not on the fact to add more and more like they did in 3B-7. I mean outlaw queen and captain swan is trash. Mary magret fearing Emma in season 4A is bullshit. The black fairy as the final villain was just dumb... The last good villain was Cora, the last good episode was 3x11.

Season 4B was kinda boring, season 5 was a mess, season 6 well idk, though I loved the fact that they focused on Regina and not on Captainswan, I still think it was boring... Season 7 was pretty good but the flashbacks were boring and the new characters were uninteresting. I agree about CS and OQ, SwanQueen should've been endgame :( Season 1 was by far the best season. So beautiful, gets me everytime, radiates comfort

The only people who are immune to the curse are Emma and Henry. Emma because Rumple built it into the curse, and Henry because he was born in A World Without Magic. Hook is an odd exception as he wasn't under the curse, but I guess since he is from the Enchanted Forest, he can't leave Storybrooke either. Same with Baelfire.

I'm confused. When Regina had to reverse Pan's curse, she mentioned that only people not originally born in the EF and other realms could not be taken, meaning Henry wouldn't be able to go back to EF because he was born in our world. But then wouldn't that mean Alexandra (Ashley's/Cinderella's baby) and any other babies born originally in Storybrooke/our world wouldn't be able to go as well and stay in our world with Henry?

I think the show has been pretty trashy since "Welcome to Storybrooke" in season two. True, there have been great things like this scene here and there, but overall, the writers stopped listening to their own canon and started making incredibly predictable storylines with terribly written villains.
