We can assure you that Regina's voice has not been manipulated with auto-tune or any other pitch correcting software in her Live Room performances. Make sure you're watching in full HD for the best audio quality.

Noobs haven't ever heard a perfect singer before. Regina is flawless. And yes, if you can imagine, at some point she has to goto a recording studio so they can record her albums :O Saw her in concert last year, and had chills the entire concert...she's so good.

If you think this song is auto-tuned/pitch-corrected: you are simply mistaking Regina's extremely fast vocal trills for manipulated sound. I know it sounds similar, but consider this: 1) If you're familiar with her music, you know the trills I'm talking about. They're everywhere. 2) Ever seen her play live? Regina has perfect (or near-perfect) pitch. She doesn't need auto-tune 3) Do you really think she would let someone manipulate her voice like that? Maybe I'm naive but I believe WarnerSound

That's cause she uses a different style in the studio so she doesn't overpower the mic and blow it out. When live she uses more of her full voice and isn't afraid to belt. Listen to 11:11, Songs and Soviet Kitsch for examples. On later albums (Begin to Hope, Far) she used more of a softer tone, holding back her belting power for a softer, more commercially pleasant tone. Since this is live, she's not holding herself back. Hence why she sounds different here. It's more of her full-voice.

If it's auto-correcting and/or auto tune, why is it not used at :00 - 34 ? especially when she sings the "she's the kind of girl who'll fracture her mind, till it's light." She is flat when she sings "mind" so, obviously there is no auto tune.

Ignorance is bliss, I suppose. If you don't hear the correction then by all means enjoy the show. For the people wondering where you can hear the correction the most, listen to the first chorus when she sings "absolutely insane" for the first time. It has nothing to do with compression. We aren't saying that Regina doesn't have a great voice, we're just pointing out the fact that some bozo thought it would be a good idea to try to correct it in the first place.

@MrMattyKetchup 12 жыл бұрын
yeah it's not pitch corrected... of course people complain about Regina executing a perfect performance bc i guess they think it's not possible to be that perfect? i don't even understand the parts people are referencing, her voice sounds incredibly natural to me, that's kind of the point of a live sessions studio recording. and i'm not an amateur, if it was pitch corrected i would be all over that rightfully pissed. but it's not.

Everyone, stop complaining. Her voice is not pitch-corrected. That winding, autotune sound that you hear at certain parts is just one of her vocal tricks. Listen to the studio version, or any other live version for that matter. Sounds the same.

Don't get me wrong here, I abolutely love Regina, but it truly does sound altered. This is what it sounds like when you overlay or apply a pitch corrector. It was the first thing I noticed. It is blatantly obvious; you can hear the occasional jerks that signify pitch correction in the vocal track (an example would be at 0:32 on the word 'mind').

That aside, her voice here does not have the slightest hint at being auto-tuned. There is no dynamic compromise, and you can hear all sorts of vocal ornaments she is doing. Some half deafs may mistake that for autotune artifacts - get to the ear doctor quick or listen to more proper music with people who can at least sort of sing!

She loves that shirt, I'm not a big fan of her music or shirt styles. I'm more of a t shirt guy. My fashion sense is a little keener being younger than her I assume. That's like something someone pre 1980 would where and play piano? What a macabre fashionista. I love her I'm just kidding but I think if we hung out we'd get along so well we wouldn't even talk in Russian or English hence why we will never share the same place or breathe the same air. Not because of the politicans or political clout like most might think. Also I'm more a pianist fan.

Every note, really. It's less obvious than the popular "autotune" that everyone is used to but it's just as robotic sounding. I don't for once think it was at Regina's request, though. Some producers are just conditioned into "correcting" during the editing process, which is a shame. Ah well, hopefully this fad will pass. It was a good performance though.
