Reginald Dixon BBC Music To Start Your Day. This week we have a late Broadcast by Reginald Dixon from 28th March 1976. These Sunday Morning BBC Radio 2 Broadcast with a Brass Band were shared throughout the year with so many weeks of Dudley Savage at the Plymouth Compton Plus Brass Band. Then So many weeks of Douglas Reeve Organ with a Brass Band. And also Reginald Dixon did so many weeks likewise. These are only the Reginald Dixon excerpts from this week in question no band. It's good to have a later broadcast to post, but hard to think this is 47 years ago now! The Organ Reginald Dixon is playing here on the broadcast is the third BBC Theatre Organ which was the Ex Empress Ballroom Blackpool Wurlitzer. Which the BBC purchased and installed in the BBC PlayHouse theatre in Manchester in 1971.
