I love reading that! I'm from Punta Arenas and I could say its a great city, but the problem for people that weren't born in cities with cold temperatures may be hard to get used to the cold and rains.

eso es falso XD el principal grupo etnico de magallanes es el chilote, los croatas son la primera minoria etnica, pero estan lejos de ser el 50% de la población

@@joseoyarzo2977 Los chiloetes no son los de Chiloé? de todas formas el principal grupo de Magallanes serian los castizos o los criollos, los croatas serian una minoria peeero bastante grande.

@@berno5920 Si , los chilotes son la gente que habita en la isla grande de chiloe, pero son el prinicipal grupo humano que conforma magallanes por lejos , ellos fueron los primeros en establecer el fuerte bulnes y la posterior ciudad de punta arenas y han llegado en 3 oleadas migratorias, la segunda fue durante la fiebre del oro en tierra del fuego y la epoca de las grandes estancias y la tercera fue en los 80-90, incluso hasta hoy sigue existiendo el flujo migratorio de chiloe a magallanes, en punta arenas hay una zona entera de la ciudad que se conoce como "la chilota"; pq fue fundado por gente que venia de la isla

Para que veas al rededor del 20-25% de la poblacion de magallanes tiene ascendencia indigena y de ese % mas del 90% es mapuche-huilliche, esto debido a que esta gente son descendientes de los chilotes indigenas que migraron a magallanes y aysen y esto solo es un submundo, pues los indigenas solo son el 30% de la poblacion de la isla , hay aun muchos mas magallanicos descendientes de chilotes no indigenas en la region , es cosa de ver por que en magallanes tradiciones como el curanto, los milcaos o la chochoca son mas importanes que cualquier tradicion croata para el magallanico de a pie.
