I have a similar thing going on next year (we cant choose when to take which classes), clinicals + patho. Clinicals starts a few months before christmas, and my patho exam is right after christmas. Im gonna be spending my summer reading, so I dont have to do all the patho during clinicals (last clinical rotation I was just so tired all the time!). Im sure these tips will help as well. I

Very good video! I'm almost done with Patho. I have two exams this week and my final next week. I work full time and I'm taking this class online. This is a very hard class, but I love the material. I hope to get into my BSN program. I apply in January and will know in March. I have been listening to your videos and they have been very helpful! Thank you for breaking down the material! :)

Hello Jess :) Very awesome you are almost done with patho...like I said to someone else in this comment section, I bet you are so happy it is almost over. It is an intense class, and I bet it is even more intense since you are taking it online. Patho is so important though. Once you start your nursing courses you will see that it is the foundation for why we perform our nursing interventions and pay attention to certain signs and symptoms. It is also very awesome you will be applying to your BSN program soon. I hope all goes well with the application process and you get in! Thank you for watching my videos... I hope they can be a resource to you during your nursing journey :)

Update: patho is going great! I am in it right now and most of my exams in that class I am scoring over 90%. For my patho class, there are no NCLEX questions on the exams(SATA, etc) however the exams were lectured based and my professor would give rationales on each physiology process of the disease. The hard part of this class would be signs and symptoms, treatments, and diagnostics for each disease. However, even tho this class doesn’t go over a lot of A and P content, I felt like I understand the physiology content a lot more in Patho than A and P. But again it depends on what professor you have. Mine was pretty good and explained everything during lecture. However foundations on the other hand is hard since it’s application like patho but they take it one step further and ask like if you were a nurse in this position with this problem how would you make this decision, but other than that patho is going good.

Thank you so much for the awesome comment, Nathalie :) I really appreciate it, and I'm so happy you like how I structure my notes. That is awesome you do it the same way...probably because we're nurse thinkers lol and this is how our brains process material. Taking this online and I didn’t realize how hard it is. I have less than 2 months to learn it which is basically gives me 3-4 days before a test. I’m literally spending 10 hours a day trying to make sense of it all. I’m also taking pharmacology which also eats up my limited amount of time.

I am freaking out because the first time I got 265 in September 2016, with about 23 select all, I failed. now I got 265 qs again, with about 40 select all. I really hope I pulled through I just want to be an RN and move forward with my life. I've watched your you tube videos, and they are really great it helped me out on the test. I pray that I hear good news tomorrow
