Regret | Tapping With Renee

Regret is the place where, with hindsight, we see what we could have done differently if we knew then what we know now. The dominant feelings that accompany shame are sorrow, disappointment, anger and judgement.
When we feel regret, we are focused on the past. Our thoughts are dominated by statements that start with, "I wish that....", or, "If only I...". It can be difficult to forgive ourselves and to move on. In time, we need to accept that we did the best we knew how to at the time, accept what happened, and then move forward.
We may experience regret from small experiences to life-altering tragedies. This tapping script is general and cannot encompass all situations where we may feel regret. Alter the script as you go to fit your unique situation.
And as always, be gentle and patient with yourself as you heal.

I have been living for about a year with some decisions I made 50 plus years ago that tragically ruined my career that was going quite well. For a long time. I made those decisions in agony and fear. Strangely at 81 the past haunts me all too often especially during my sleep. Renee, I thank you for a very good tapping that shows your understanding of Tapping and how to create powerful generic tappings that easily fit well for me. I suspect many others could gain a great deal from Renee. I don't know Renee but I know beautiful and useful Tappings. As I tried this tapping for the first time regarding regrets I was amazed how on target it was for me. Bless you, Renee. Don't know you but this tap is powerful. But I must use it daily to overcome my regret.
