If the O-ring doesn't look damaged, some keg lube would likely help maintain a proper seal better than trying to seal the threads.

I hear hissing sound coming from the pressure relieve. Is this repairable? It’s the chrome looking on your regulator.

What if my pressure decreased over night but tank pressure is still the same

I have this problem as well. I set the pressure on a fresh keg and it should be using gas as it goes into solution. But the regulator acts as if I had closed the valve on the tank and shows no pressure the next day. I readjust the regulator until it shows the set pressure again. Then it goes through the whole thing again. I’ve leak checked everything I can think of from the tank mount to all the seals on the keg. My thinking is that if it was a leak the regulator should try to hold the set pressure until the tank was empty. It’s still quite the head scratcher for me.

Can a regulator suddenly stop working all together, not due to mishandling or care ??
