I have just purchased my first ever GoPro the Hero 8 Black and this is by far the BEST video that I've seen explaining some great settings for us novices, Very thorough at a steady pace so one can take it all in and not have to keep going back to double take and a very pleasant tone of voice no shrieking etc etc. Just what I needed and I've no doubt will watch it a few more times. I strongly encourage anyone trying to instruct someone to use this video as a resource for a "how to" of how to videos. Detailed and helpful, I had a cheaper knock off that got little use. I determined that an 8 vs the new 12 was my sweet spot at used price of one quarter which gave me room for accessories. Now i can document my vacation in Hawaii in and out of Ocean 🤙

Thanks for the info! You can also try 2.7K [4:3] because you can crop the image as 16:9 and still having image information at top and bottom. The quality is the same but in 4:3 you get more pixels as 16:9 is croped. Also deforming 4:3 you can achieve superview.

my gopro 8 has a bad audio recording. it turns low and high and its so annoying. that what brought me here. this is very clear tutorial. i will try some of the settings here hopefully my audio problem gets solved.

This is genuinely a very good tutorial or guidance. You talk gentle and calm, you are straight to the point and you don't just skip anything and take the time to explain each setting a bit, which gave me an overall better idea on how to setup my GoPro now.
