I saw a horse while walking my moms friends dog today. It was a paint horse in the town in a small patch of grass, she was tied to a peg. She was so friendly and i want her so much! 💛love you esme💛

I have really sad news. So I have to start from the beginning of my pony’s story for this to make more sense. Me and my sister were very kindly given a large pony in 2019. He was a pony ride pony and he just walked in circles all day everyday. When we got him he was practically unbroke. We taught him how to trot, walk in different directions, we taught him how to canter, and we have worked so hard with him. We were supposed to go to our first show with our pony this weekend. We are not going to get to show him this weekend in a riding show this weekend or ever again because we are getting to big for him. He is developing sway back which is a condition that I didn’t even know existed but it is when there back becomes flat where the saddle sits. When my trainer told me this, I was heartbroken. It’s really hard for me to see everything slip away so suddenly. He is my pride and joy and I am so proud of him. This is really hard for me. I don’t know what to do. Should I just make him a showmanship or halter pony? Should I make him a lesson pony for small riders? The only reason that making him a lesson pony would be really hard for me is because it would be really sad for me to see someone else ride my pony when I can’t ever ride him again. I am just so sad and every time I think about this I get sad but it feels good to get it off me chest. Thank u for everyone who read this comment and who responded or liked it. Give me advice in the comments please.
