Just saw this video. Looking at getting one on sale this weekend. Have you had issues with the two way valves leaking or getting dirty since they spin around?

@BigglesworthNWATT Hey there thank you for your question! And nope, I haven't had any issues with the valves leaking or getting dirty. Just remember to place the valve in the correct position, and screw the caps on tightly, and you'll be fine :)

Thinking of getting this over the exped because of the sale price, but should i be worried with negative reviews (Air Leaks)?

Hi Justine, I wouldn't be too worried about the negative reviews because REI has a fantastic one year warranty, so if your Dreamer doesn't seem to stay inflated, you could always return it. But if you have the budget, I'd highly recommend the Exped because it's more comfy and definitely higher quality. Hope this helps! 😊

I've had the single Camp Dreamer for a few years. I find the pump to be too big and difficult to use. I also have a leak but haven't been able to find out where it is. I actually use it on my folding cot and it works fine, with the foam being enough cushion. It is bulky as well. I prefer the Exped Megamat which I use in my small primative cottage year round and also take camping. I have an Outfitter model which has puncture resistant fabric and even my dogs and cat haven't punctured it in over 3 years.

Hi Deborah! Thanks again for sharing! 🥰 I really appreciate all your comments on my vids! Oh man sucks that you had a leak too. Was that a defect, or something that happened over time? But yeah the foam is cushiony and I managed to get through my first night on a deflated Dreamer without too much discomfort 🤣 Wow I don't think I would let my dog on my Exped though, it'll hurt too much to have to buy a new one 😅 But I'm really glad to know that it's so hardy!

Exped used to make an Outfitter Megamat which has a kevlar covering over it to protect it from dog nails and rocks and it's really great but I think they stopped making it. I saw one used on REI recently and wish I had bought it. My Dreamer was leak free for the first couple of years so I don't think it was a defect but I don't use it that much due to the bulk of carrying it or putting it in the car with all my other gear.

I'd go get one if they made it again. Maybe if we keep hanging out on the REI Used Gear page, another one might pop out 😅 And yeah it doesn't pack down as nicely as the Exped for sure, but I'm glad that at least you got a couple years of use!
