I got the women's extra small in the color "olive oil". I enjoy it so far (except for that little toggle for the front mesh pocket that'll open if I have anything more than my tent footprint and rain jacket in it). It carries 20lbs like a dream, the max load weight recommended is 35lbs so everyone keep that in mind when looking at this pack as it really is meant for a more ultralight hiker.

@@brettadventuresx I also got this for shorter non-winter trips because of the capacity...those winter trips easily add up to 5lbs to my base weight 😂

great review! a lot of people review gear and just sit and stare at the camera blabbering on, with the backpack on a table next to them haha. I want to see what it looks like while in use. was on the fence about this pack but thanks to your video and a couple others I said fuck it and went and got one today. brought it home, loaded it up and I am in love with it already.

Good vid! I really like the Flash 55 - Where you had to add the small caribiner, I ended up putting a "figure 8" on the cord and wrapped it around the plastic cleat. So far so good.

Thanks! And nice solution, that's awesome!

I have the Flash 55 too. Regarding the mesh attachment, if you take the grey nylon loop above the yellow plastic cleat and loop it down around the cleat after hooking it to the yellow cord, it won't come undone.

Does your rain pack cover fit over your sleeping pad?

Yes, I do believe so!

Hi, I am about to order it over seas. I am 185cm and 90kg. Would you recommend a m or a l?

I'd look at the REI guides for sizing, but it seems like it would work well for ya'! Sorry for the slow response, and hope you enjoy whatever you go with.

After scraping my finger on that water bladder hook, I finally cut it out of there. Much better.
@brettadventuresx2 жыл бұрын
That's a great idea-I'll likely do the same since I don't think I'll ever use the bladder with it. Happy trails!

You're pretty flexible (or maybe dextrous) if you can get stuff out of your pack without taking it off :)
