I use a 3L Osprey as my water bladder in my Flash 18. Because it has it's own structure that helps in making the back of the pack more rigid. It also helps to prevent things from poking me in my back. Nice review.

If you pack smart, you can fit a surprising amount of gear in this pack. I never liked sucking water through a plastic tube so I don't use a water bladder. Plus, they are on the heavy side. I made a thicker foam sit pad for that compartment, which I use all the time.

REI seems to only sell the print versions in girly patterns. Are they sexist or something?
