Let's see you do it then. Regardless, if you've ever had a heavy pack then you know that it can be strenuous, and now imagine lugging a giant and awkwardly shaped bike on your bike. Definitely lighter if you're used to the outdoors and in shape, but still not an easy task for hiking through the Grand Canyon.

Nice video. I realize it's main purpose is to be a promotional piece for REI but it's really a shame that there are no credits given for the individuals who made it. It's not going to detract from the emphasis on the REI brand, don't worry about it. (Long time REI member and supporter.)

Great video. Really makes me want to do this trail for my first long hike. I'm not so crazy about carrying a bike through the Grand Canyon. Wonderful video, but I don't get the thing about racing ... how can you see, enjoy, contemplate or really experience if you are racing though as well as only eating junk food? I did bike rides like this for one day and ended up getting a very painful kidney stone from severe dyhydration if you do not take enough water. Live and learn ... looking forward for more videos like this, really inspiring. By the way ... "shame" .... no f'n way, that is an accomplishment just to be able to do that. Beautiful!

Great video, commendable effort, but the obsession with racing is sad. The AZT is such a beautiful trail, beyond gorgeous, so much to see. Where is the virtue in rushing? The stretch of trail she rode in 1 day I rode in 3. My only regret is that I had to rush. Wish I'd done it in 5 days instead.
