Mila is adorable! It’s very apparent she’s got the right stuff to be the perfect backpacking partner. The tent would work well for solo car camping, a solo lightweight backpacker or a backpacking duo who can split the weight (and don’t have large personal space bubbles).

Very good tent. Very good presentation. Your daughter is adorable. I just forwarded and shared this video with my daughter so that she gets inspired of going backpacking with me. My daughter is 25 though. This is a very good quality tent and if you want to be on the safe side , When you go backpacking, you have to get in a tent like this one. Regardless to the price. You will not get quality like this in a cheap tent. I’m not against cheap tents. I have cheap tents myself. This is why I am saying this in my comment. Cheap tents have come long ways improvements all across the board in the last year‘s. They are way more reliable than earlier years. But still cannot be compared to high-quality tents though. I am saying all these and, nowadays, I am using a tarp for a shelter that cost me only seven bucks. I still use my pants once in a while. What sleeping bag are you using? What backpack are you using? I enjoyed your video so much I just subscribed. Thank you so much for sharing u video. God bless you.

I bought one USED from the REI website WITH footprint $220.

Buy the foot print or do what I did and make one out of Tyvek. The floor is very thin. It does not come with a foot print $49.99 at the present time. No more above pockets haven't noticed any pockets. They seemed to have reduced the space as I am less than 140lbs and I pretty much fill this asymetrical tent when I am inside by myself. Also, people can see you changing your clothes from outside the tent (!) If you have a sharp fingernail, bye tent. starts at $329., probably more at this time/

I'm struggling here. Do you know if the poles were pre-bent?

I don't understand this video - At the end you say you're looking for a light option, not an ultralight option... So why did you review an ultralight tent? Sounds like you're going car camping. I think this tent is amazing. It's a touch too narrow for two, but that's worth it if you're trying to save weight. For a 3 season tent it is pretty bomb-proof and at this price it beats competitors like Big Agnes by a significant margin. Peace.
