I was just simply pointing out that back then it may have been the most non brutal execution but was still exceptionally brutal. Which is strange. Bash tells Mary he will come to her when she needs him the most and he's supposedly strengthening his ability to "see" things. Why did they even write that in when we know Mary is to lose her head? They just like to make up random shit to keep the show dragging on. So half of season 4 is going to be Bash strengthening this gift just like half of season 3 was him playing good cop. Charles dies historically, that's why they're setting up Prince Henry III's role now. Just end the damn show. I've been wanting Mary's head since season 2. Long may Elizabeth Reign, like damn.

Everybody's talking about how a wife shouldn't have to witness his own wife being killed, but nobody is talking about how when Lola was brought to English court, Elizabeth and Lola were quick friends and built up trust, and when Mary asked her to kill Elizabeth, she was hesitant. They were friends, and Elizabeth had to sentence her to death. Elizabeth had to watch her closest friend be killed at her orders. She felt pain as deep as Narcisse's

I doubt it was “as deep” as Narcisse’s pain considering that was literally his wife and someone he had planned a future with. He also came to England with so many plans and hopes for their future together. He is shows to have many regrets to how their relationship went and we see how much he truly loved her. Quick close friends are great especially when you’re as lonely as Elizabeth. I do believe she cared for her but I don’t think the pain they felt are remotely the same.
