Once you've become more experienced working with energy you can pick up on more subtle vibrations like crystals and such (not that all crystals are subtle!) Also when you work with the same crystal a lot you become familiar with its unique feel and vibration. Say you cleanse/clear a crystal you might get the feeling after that it now feels a little lighter, or that it seems to have a little shine or sparkle to it, or say it's color seemed to have changed a little or it doesn't seem to have as many inclusions. So short answer: your intuition will tell you 💜

Hey there love, it's a little late but I sure hope you're doing okay. I wish you the absolute best 💖 I've been in a real dark hole, one that I don't wish upon anyone, I didn't believe in myself, I didn't believe in anything positive.. It's real hard to get out of the hole you're in, I'm blessed to be blessed, some don't get out soon and others find it easier. I was in that hole for 3-4 years and I want to let you know that the way you perceive the world really changes you. Even little steps like telling yourself you're worth it, journalling positive affirmations (I highly recommend, I still write/say positive affirmations)

Well, the information found online suggests that you should charge crystals for several hours.

4 hours should be enough, best to discharge them one day in water and one day in soil prior. I normally put them into water for a day, into soil the next day and lay in the full sun on the third day. Then waft them lightly with a flame, and hold them in front of my third eye for programming and activation.
