I had a conversation with a lady cop when I first got my car and had to get a cop to check my front windows on the VW and she told me the same thing after she saw I didn't run a front plate. You can't roll out of a parking lot on the main street without coming to a complete stop. One of those "gotcha" laws for sure. She told me she would ticket me if she found me on the street for no front plate, the only reason I didn't then because it would be entrapment. She was a cool cop. Seen her a couple of times rolling by, she hasn't lit me up yet. My time is coming though...

You need to have that lawyer clear that up... it was a blessing he stopped you. now you know and can correct it..There is no way that I am not going to clear that up immediately! I would have called a lawyer about it the next day!! If I owed anything I would bust my hump and pay it.. Keeping a CDl is still a skill you worked for to earn..maybe take a run here and there to help someone out..earn some fast money if you get in a jam...you've got to be versatile to succeed. If you already know that your car isn't 100% legal..what do you think they are going to do when they see that car tricked out? You are asking to get stopped......I don't argue with the police...and they have let me go at least 3-4x in the last few years.. it helps to have perfect driving record I believe that saved me I have my hands up and out the window when they pull up...and then they calm down...
