Thank You for this wonderful calm, so personal and low key interview with Freddie's friend Mack. I have seen them working together in some of the videos. I know their friendship was true and genuine and if I'm not mistaken Reinhold Mack named his son after Freddie. Freddie Mack. You really have to care and love a person to name your child after them. You can hear the love and appreciation he had for Freddie and we know that it was mutual. Freddie was truly a treasure on this earth. Wish I could have seen him perform at least.

Thank you - this was such a gentle, honest, and insightful reminiscence. I loved hearing so much about Freddie on a personal level, including his shyness and reticence to make the first overtures with new people, and his lack of confidence in his own abilities/ worthiness. Things that most people don't necessarily associate with Freddie the famous showman/ performer. These were among the qualities I felt and saw and was touched by when I was lucky enough to meet him, by chance, in the summer of '73 - in fact I was just thinking of him, and had been writing something of my own about that meeting, when this video popped up in my recommendations. Thanks once again for sharing this with us. I can't fathom why this video series is not getting a larger audience.
