Cues are not just about communication, they are also about transforming your presence. When you are in control of your cues you can show up as your most charismatic self. In this class, I will be walking you through a POWERFUL exercise to reinvent yourself and how to reset your presence.
I’ll be hosting LIVE from New York at 9am PT/12pm ET after my CBS Morning segment covering the cues launch. The best part? I’ll also be doing my first ever Ask Me Anything Q&A.
Here’s what we covered in the training (including timestamps!):
0:00 Intro
4:23 If you wonder what visual cues others are sending you, play this decoding game with me!
5:40 If you struggle with productivity at work, watch this
13:40 Learn what cues are, how they impact our lives and how we can identify and control them
11:41 How to read and apply this training to your life with real-life examples
16:30 Why as a young girl, I never felt like I belonged and the cues I was missing or mislabeling
22:31 5 questions to ask yourself that will CHANGE your life
24:05 Why how you see yourself determines how others treat you
25:28 Why reinventing ourselves requires accurate encoding and decoding
26:35 The 3 questions we’re always asking ourselves about others while interacting with them
27:30 How I wrote Cues and where the 17 years of research came from
31:10 The famous awkward missed cue from Tom Brandy
32:55 The door experiment. How did they not notice this major missed cue?
35:15 Why people who accurately read cues EARN more money
39:45 Let’s play… can you spot the cue? (practice your cue spotting right here with me!)
1:01:27 Is your profile photo leaving the right impression? Find out using 3 of our community member's photo options.
1:12:35 Determine what you want more of in your life. I’ll share mine too!
1:16:11 This is when I learned that YOU ALL made Cues #1 New Release on Amazon 😭 Thank you!!!!
1:23:20 My last of the 5 questions that will lock in this training for you!
1:25:00 My motivational pep-talk for you and details about Cues starts here
1:26:45 I can’t wait to give you these juicy book bonuses (including a ticket to my exclusive Cues Advanced Masterclass!)
1:45:33 Ask me Anything… My husband Scott joins me while I answer your Q’s live!

I misinterpret social cues because I constantly think that people are double meaning, two-faced (smile in your face, talk about you behind your back), and liars. This is due to my upbringing-seeing a parent do it to people.

I literally overheard my step Mom speaking to my step sister after I walked out of the room an she was contradicting what she said to me and how she was acting to my face. It crushed me and although I forgive her because I understand how hard it is raising step children, I have never forgotten it.

I can see I misinterpreted cues all my life until lately. I was a very extreme introvert and an awkward person too. I wish I had learned this in my younger years . I’ve spent over 60 years relearning how to socialize correctly. With me being awkward and dyslexic I tend to shut down and instead of being outgoing. I was always looked down upon as well as used.

Great question! Here is some info on all 3: 1) Captivate focuses on connecting more deeply with people in the first 5 seconds, minutes, and days. It is about making a good first impression and working a room. I also dive into the science of personality and how to appeal to people’s values. This helps build rapport with anyone and everyone. The link overview to Captivate is here: [www.scienceofpeople.com/captivate/] 2) Cues is a breakdown of all the social signals humans send to each other. I dive into how readers can be more charismatic using their body language, voice, words, and profile pictures. Cues guides readers through how to be likable and powerful with the cues they use in professional, social, and even romantic situations. The link overview to Cues is here: [www.scienceofpeople.com/cues/] 3) As for the the Human Lie Detection and Body Language 101 book, that one is no longer in print. It is available from some sellers reselling it, but it is several years old. If you're interested in lie detection, I recommend you check out my course on lie detection!
