Planes were fun, tbh. They ruined them with the fuel mechanic, but they were fun in season 7. Nothing in Fortnite is permanent, so I don't get why people cry so much about fun items.

I started in Season 7 and I liked the planes. I don't cry about the fun items being gone. Sure ill Miss planes, The Grabitron, The Inflata-Bull and the marvel Mythic Powers. But it forms memories, people will always have a place for these weapons, Mythics aren't permanent, and we will always have memories of these weapons. And Creative will always preserve some of these weapons, Theu even brought some of the Mythics from Chapter 2 to Creative. While Weapons like The Grabitron probably wasn't added to Creative since it probably wouldn't be easy to port into creative. But Creative is always a Way to use and play around with these weapons.

Not to mention it’s the persons fault for getting down in the first place. It’s part of the game, in solos you would have been out of the game anyway with or without siphon. 🤷‍♂️

vividly remember that update, it was really fun and I remember really grinding out pubs. although i dont think syphon belonged in pubs because it made a casual based game like fortnite a lot more W key/aggressive making it harder for new players to play. (although i did have fun at the time just running around w keying everyone)

I personally feel siphon is a good addition rewarding kills, and not leaving 1 hp if you kill a team

@@3than1011 While really enjoyable, siphon naturally only encourages aggression. It makes a game mode that is meant for the casual average player way harder because a good player will just kill over and over and be hard to stop since third partying is nerfed since you wouldn't be able to just sneak in a bullet or 2 to get a free kill, which is a common strategy of casual play; just letting the good players kill each other and then killing one because they weren't paying attention is satisfying for new players. Siphon doesn't force playing as safe. Siphon also encourages players to immediately eliminate downed opponents for their health, which isn't enjoyable for the average player. This is why I want them to bring back shakedowns, but that's another story. Siphon works fine in a serious mode like Arena because it's meant to be extremely aggressive. In casuals, it only makes the game harder, and removes the need to play safely and carry lots of meds.

Watching skyla's footage in the background made me lowkey zone out the negative aspects like rocket launchers. That stretched resolution is just... Beautiful. Honestly, i really enjoyed season 6, and i loved the snow biome in season 7 but after 7.40, this season has been cemented (at least in my mind) as the best season of fortnite ever.

Even though I didn't like that they removed siphon, I kinda get why they removed siphon from pubs... but why is it not in Team Rumble? The amount of times i win a diffucult fight against 3 people with like 10 health just to be finished off by their teammate with an MK-Seven.

now that SBMM is in fortnite I dont see why they wouldn't add siphon back to pubs. better players in more skilled lobbies would have more fun since they wouldnt have to farm as much and can W key eachother , and lower level players wouldnt have to worry about the better players completely destroying them. I never cared much for SBMM but I feel this would be a perfect compromise. I also never understood why epic took out the boosted materials either, farming in pubs isn't really something i think anyone wants to do and so I just feel like the game would be more fun.

Siphon in pubs was good and all but that was the start of people finishing knocked players all the time even when they removed siphon. Thank goodness they brought reboot vans though. I think reboot vans is one of the best things added to the game.

Removing siphon was directly the reason for my irl friends to quit. Arena was too sweaty in season 8-9 and pubs were just boring without siphon. I literally only played arena even when I got dogged on. Eventually I did get good enough to a point where it became fun again. Boy was season x bad though, meta wise but also that all my friends quit then.

I was against siphon because it encouraged one play style: rushing. That said, Epic has done nothing to encourage other play styles, so at this point they may as well bring back siphon. Everyone rushes anyway.

Not for me, no one danced with me, unlike chapter 2, where sometimes I went on road trips with 3 other people, we'd emote, play soccer and just have fun, I also met all of my online friends during that time, besides racing with others in solos or fish with 4 people in solos arena or giving people free wins or gas stations or helping others do quests and so much More is just 1000x more fun than being harvested for some health that won't help them in the long term
