Imran Becks the bumper part(legs?) that you are supposed to pull while transforming is quite loose and hence it detaches very easily. I have to carefully transform it every time so as to ensure I don't break that plastic hook lol..

I am glad that you purchased the reissue Bumblebee, as you pointed out there are significant changes between the original and reissue. He is the only 1984 toy that was reissued this time around, which accounts for the regular foil decal on the hood instead of the rub sign. In 1984 the rub sign didn't exist, but by the time you get to 1986, when the rest of this reissue group came out, those rub signs were on all of the Transformer toys. Speaking of the rest of that group, the only difference between them and their original counterparts are that the eyes are painted blue. On the originals, the eyes weren't painted at all. You can still get the G1 Reissue Dinobots off of eBay as a five-boxed set. They are high quality KOs though. I bought them from eBay about 5 years ago.

That head is actually from the 2003 Japanese exclusive Takara “bookbox” release. It came with 5 other mini bots and g1 bumblebee with the new head. The body even says 1985 Hasbro

I kinda want hasbro to do a new show based off of G1 but in a new continuity like a G1 reboot with a reissue toyline with reasonable prices based off the complexity of the toys like $5 for bumblebee $10 for optimus prime without the $5 trailer and a new jetfire for $50 because of how many lawsuits up the butt hasbro would get from harmony gold and bandai and it would be cool if they added fire convoy and gigatron from car robots (RID 2001)
