Kengan Ashura is the reason I started training MMA and martial arts in general. This anime inspired me to learn to be a fighter. And my goal is to have a cage fight at least once. And go from there. Update1: 1 year later, no cage fight yet, but have competed in kickboxing and jiu-jitsu competitions, still aiming for that cage fight.

I’m confident you will accomplish your dreams, there are a lot of mma gyms with cages where you can arrange sparring sessions, maybe you can even participate in a regional tournament or competition, and if you wanna go pro, it might be harder but I still believe you can do it

Please I beg of you bazed, do one of Hajime no Ippo; it may not be as badass as Baki or Kengan. But it motivational as hell, it was what got me out of my rut and pushed me to go further. Loved it, man. I was really hyped for you making a video on Kengan Ashura since not only Ohma but a whole lot of another Kengan Ashura characters were so important for motivating me. Because of it my passion for martial arts was spiked and i started training muay thai. Also, really love that you put that scene of Yamashita talking about how Ohma reminded him that he is a man. On the manga there is a scene where two thugs try to intimidate Yamashita and he just ignores them without even noticing. Later they get more violent and Ohma arrives to punch them. There is also a scene where the leader of the gang his son Yasuo Yamashita is gets in to get money from his son but Ohma is there and he fights the gang leader and the whole gang, eventually winning. Yasuo Yamashita who to this point was nothing but a thug and a disappointment who frequently came in to his dad's house (the dad who accepted him with open arms every time) just to take his money felt like a piece of shit and decided do get a job, on which he works very hard and seems to be happy. Sad this scenes got removed from the anime, because they really show what a good man can do. An example to follow, someone able to spark the fire of your will. Someone to (as Yamashita said) "remind you that you are a MAN". To me, one of the most important parts of the manga/anime is seeing Kazuo's evolution as he goes living and learning with Ohma. And see Ohma learning a little from Kazuo as well (since he was not perfect in the beginning of the manga). Watching those inspiring characters and watching how even another character gets so inspired by them is just great. Loved the video, man.
