Being rejected from UCLA helped me to get out of my comfort zone and in the end, as weird as it may seem to say, I'm thankful that UCLA rejected me. UCLA would have been the path of least resistance for me because I could have stayed in LA and not much about my life would change other than where I went to school. I'm thankful that I had the goal of UCLA to motivate me and help me succeed even though it didn't all work out how I had planned.
Were you rejected from something and then it turned out to be a good thing? What do you think about "Rejection as Protection?"
Good luck with college admission decisions and please remember to be kind to yourself no matter where you are accepted or rejected!
