Uganda seems surprisingly warm and hospitable. This can be found all over Africa, but it really seems Uganda has the most consistently friendly locals.

I found the same in Malawi, though also there's the element that they see you as a white guy as also having money = maybe they can get something. But yes, Africans are friendly. Bit different in South Africa, where there is a lot of anger and hatred, also a lot of using people and selfishness, but I find people generally get along until the government and media stoke up flames.

I love UG, my wife is Ugandan. We have a house im Kawempe, Kampala. These videos from Bald accurately portray the kindness and humour of Ugandans, always on a hustle yet always have time to talk. Its a huge and beautiful country, well worth a visit😀

@@jamesballard6564 its a long story, but we met through our efforts working with Acid Attack Survivors. My work is in India, my Wife is an Acid Survivor too, running her own charity, Hope Care Rescue Mission in Kampala. The girl in my dp is my adopted daughter Anmol, an Indian Acid Survivor. I can legitimately thank Mr Bald for inspiring me and changing the direction of my life in 2019, to go travel to India, where I met the Acid Survivors and felt compelled to help them as best I can. My work there continues to this day. Dave
