Such a great broadhead with a genius design. From fixed to mechanical, awesome. Great video brother.

Did you do the accuracy test on these heads? Just saw the comment that say it flys well. Still great test, thanks!
@scottbonner64304 жыл бұрын
If John shot an arrowhead chiseled from obsidian he would still bust the balloon from 70.
@LuskArcheryAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Haha. They all do fly fairly well, to be honest. High FOC, straight arrows, FOBs or Helical Blazers and a well tuned bow and pretty much any head can do that.

@@LuskArcheryAdventures I see thanks John

Thanks again John, I think I found my broadhead(s). And maybe I missed it but, I think you forgot to mention they sell practice "blades" aswell

Thanks Erik. I did forget to say that, but I thought I wrote it in as a subtitle type comment.

So cool! Can you please do some accuracy tests out to 100 yards?
@LuskArcheryAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Patrick. I really don't want to shoot them out to 100. I have done that in the past in some of my vids, but the problem is there is just so much room for human error at that distance. If I had a Hooter Shooter, I would do it, but with just me, I've settled on shooting out to 70. However, I've found that virtually every head flies well out to 70 yards, cause my bow is very well tuned...so it doesn't even seem worth it to keep showing it.
@dad35624 жыл бұрын
Lusk Archery Adventures thank you so much for the response. You are 100% correct and I really appreciate the 70 yard shots. Stay safe.

Cool but not for me. I'm bit of a dinosaur I guess but for the Wild Boar & Deer I hunt this side of the pond I'll stick to good-old cut on contact style head. Using the Predator XTG's from Australia. Enjoying working my way though your videos.

Would love to see that test as well....Landshark 135 or 160 1 5/8” cut

I've not done that yet, but would like to. If someone donates the heads, I will gladly test them.

Thanks Justin. Perhaps at some point. But my funds are wiped out. If you or someone else donates them, then I will test them.

Great video But please make one with your basic steps for tuning a bow
@LuskArcheryAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Angelo. Honestly, I just take my bow to the shop and let them tune it. Each bow is so different, so a vid would have to be unique to each bow. But maybe I'll ask the guys at the shop to let me film them teaching about that. Good idea!

Have you ever done any "best of the best" type videos? Since you do so many different heads it would be neat to do your own march madness sweet 16 or something! Put them right up against one another and move on until we have a winner!
@LuskArcheryAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Haha. That's a good idea. It's really difficult to compare heads, unless they have the exact same specs. The larger the cut, the less the penetration, etc. But I do provide that score sheet at the end of each of my tests, in 2020 that is, so anyone can see all those comparative scores.

I was told the ferrule is 7075 not 6061.
@LuskArcheryAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Well, they wrote me a spec sheet and told me it as 6061. I even wrote to them and suggested they consider 7075 and they said that had been looking into that and are considering doing that in the future.
@innovativeoutdoorsman50674 жыл бұрын
@@LuskArcheryAdventures The owner or a rep for them was posting about this product on FB and stated 7075. I dont care for the long split in the ferule or aluminum parts in a broadhead and he went on and on about how strong 7075 alum is.
@rek_broadheads4 жыл бұрын
@@innovativeoutdoorsman5067 Moving forward these will be made of 7075. Previous models are indeed 6061 however.
