if you go back to Samragyee and Swatima’s epi, most of the ques were about getting married and having babies… she went too far to say Swastima did a right or perhaps safer thing getting married early on (this is reflective of a sick mentality that marriage is compulsory when its not and it is quite derogatory coming from these women) …definitely these ques were not asked to guests coming from political or reality show backgrounds but you can clearly see a pattern when women guests are invited.. the questions are quite derogatory which only refelcts Oshin’s rather regressive mentality in my opinion and not at all empowering… she cud have highlighted much empowering sides of Malvika Subba and Rekha Thapa

This show was incredibly captivating for me as it was women centric. I heard Rekha didi emphasize the importance of financial independence when choosing a partner during her interviews, and she consistently upheld this view. This message is very encouraging for women. However, this idea remains theoretical unless women are entitled to parental property just as men are. A man who is financially independent due to his hard work but has only a few savings and not enough for the future constantly fears getting married and taking on the family burden. Similarly, a woman, even if she is earning well, will always fear how she will sustain her life if she stops working without enough property. For example, Malvika, who is from high society, did not have the luxury to stay at home even if she didn't want to work because she had to support her family and maintain her lifestyle. Since Rekha didi is entering politics, it would be impactful if in your next interview, you could address the issue of equal rights to parental property too.
