Tabhi to Ghalib ka naam aaj urdu shayari ka synonym ban chuka hai. Mir agar Khuda-e-Sukhan hain to ghalib Baba-e-Sukhan hain

@@yashkundu2170 You just said why Ghalib is not the greatest yourself... Poetry is not about deep metrics and graphs. Essence of poetry lies in how it hits you and not in how complicated it is, There's a reason Ghalib was not famous in his own time, bcz he wasn't a people's poet, he's an intellects poet. We only understood ghalib when those intellects simplified him for us and we accepted him bcz we are too coward to admit that we are not the intellects. And thats where Mir outshines Ghalib, Mir is a people's poet, he doesn't write for the kings court, he writes for people outside the court. And thats why He's the Greatest.

@@harjindr2.0 Deep ka matlab always complicate nhi hota. ye baat pahle jahan me rahe phir aage baat karna. deep ka matlab hota hai shayari ka arth kitna gahra jata hai. ghalib ke bare me aksar kaha jata hai ki vo Lafz nhi. Jazbaat likhta tha. or haan tumhara bias saaf nazar aa raha hai meer ki taraf. tumne ghalib ko kabhi dil se padha hi nhi. ek bat maan sakta hu ghalib ke boht se sher intertretation ke baad samjh aate hain. lekin me aapko ghalib ke kam se kam 50 ese couplet gina sakta hu jo behad aasan bhi hai or avaam ke bich behad popular hain. jabki meer ke itne nahi hai.
