Fahad Sahab, While it is a noble, touching and well curated effort. Thodi mashq zaroori hai. Sher behal ho jata hai agar vazan, radeeb aur qafiye ka tavazun bigar jaye. Uski nazakat na sirf sehat alfazi se balkey padhney valey ki samajh aur andaz ka ek chhota imtihan hoti hai. The nuances and complexities of Ghalib, need to be appreciated & respected. While proper renditions of Urdu poetry is a dying art form, it is a fessentially a mark of respect and aqeedat to the shayar which should be valued & respected. The intonations, the pauses, the change of pitch and the emphases not just lend meaning to the Sher but often teases out the nuances , enhancing the intrigue and pleasure, rendering it more than one meaning. Your style is that of an AIR spokesperson, delivering information. - which, to me is a gross injustice. For example:: ' Akhir Is Dard ki ( there is no pregnant pause here!) and the emphasis is on dard. Else, it disbalances and stumbles....6:50 Vazan ( emphasis) is on Khat not Hum - 9:21. As I said, I appreciate your effort but I must speak out as the dissonance was deafening and forces me to write, I owe it to Ghalib and my unending quest to understand and appreciate this genius. I ask you to join me in this quest. Especially important as so many here, who instinctively feel the delicate magic that Urdu so powerfully creates, also need to also appreciate the underlying, unparralleled & layered beauty or, the real magic is lost to them! I hope you take this as constructive feedback as it was never meant to be criticism of any sort. Ghalib will never cease to humble us. That, is his essence.

I liked your voice I liked your delivery but just one thing is concerning me, you talked about how deeply hurt Ghalib was in the aftermath of 1857, using the language of those people who brought wounds upon him, upon everyone! I don't hate this language, but still when any language of the land could've been chosen then why English? Fans of rekhta are fans of rekhta because it aims at revival of the lost beautiful culture/language which these foreigners always aimed at annihilating, we celebrate the attempt of revival we rejoice the awakening. Hence, just one request please don't use English for narration, we already have got so used to English that we end up using the words inadvertently very frequently and I guess that's enough respect we are giving to the English language.
