So FUN! When we lived aboard our boat they used to do "raft-ups" where everyone would just meet out at sea, tie their boats to one another making an island of boats and essentially camp and hang out for a day or two like this just having fun and talking life on the sea. Like a dock party but 1000 times more awesome. How cool that it exists for planes 🛩🕶

Hiya, my dad was in the Royal Air Force here in the UK. His last posting was at RAF Coltishal in Norfolk. He was adjutant to 6 squadron flying Jaguar bombers, he only flew a desk. But while we were there the RAF Battle Of Britain Flight was there as well. I went up in the Lancaster bomber for a test flight after repairs. But as we lived on camp we were always hearing the planes, the Lancaster, 2 Spitfires, 1 Hurricane, and a Bf ME109 Ex-German fighter. The Mechashmit. I worked on the 109, helping to hand make a new carb. Filling for hours, helping out a friend. Love the sounds of the planes in this video, takes me back. Stay safe...Steve...

This was great, I have been into aviation since I was a little kid back in the 60's. My dad was an Aviation mechanic for the US Navy during WWII so I got into military stuff first but as ALL airplanes are pretty damn cool, it wasn't long before I started being interested by all the types. THERE WERE SO MANY RARE PLANES at that fly-in, that's wicked cool, it might not have been on the same scale as Oshkosh but it isn't about being that I think, in any case as I said, wicked cool, thanks for showing us!

I grew up flying with Naval pilots. My father was a Military contractor for flight simulation, I can catch a three wire like nobody’s business in a A-7corsair, S-3 Viking and FA-18🇺🇸🇺🇸. I never made it back down to try my hand at flying a Helicopter simulator. But awesome video.

This is cool. Pops used to pick me up and let me shift his Porsche. And we went to see so any races and planes. Another doc had a American SNJ-4. And the only rule was you had to help wipe the oil off. I guess they leaked a lot. I've been in the car business and loved boats and planes. My first car was a Impala convertible. I tore down the engine, bondoed the body and put big slicks on. And first drop tristed off the pinion in the rear end. I bought a junkyard rear and used all my imagination to get that sucker in. But before I did that I broke down a VW engine. Got it right but had the timing. It would have been great to have you both as friends. I was a doctors son addicted to racing. But we had to pay our own way. I ski raced for 20 years until I burned out. Coached some great racers and then had to get real about life. Went in to sales and business, got caught up into be the best and decades later. I Needed to no my own thing. I always wanted to drive IMSA. Road racing. I'm not too old yet. But my love doesn't like it. Aaron, go for your dreams before it's to late. Life will start rushing by if you don't slow it down, and go after what you want.

Flying Sparks Garage I’m about to start A&P school in January. Actually I’m buying a house right now, quitting my job soon after, and going to school in January. Huge life changes for me;) but the school I’m going to offers a discount on pilot training to their A&P students which I plan on taking them up on. I also get an extremely big discount on snap on tools while a student, so needless to say I’ll be stocking up, lol;) so anyway, hopefully, maybe someday I might get to do that event if everything pans out and maybe meet y’all;) plus I grew up a hair north of Houston in Kingwood, and though I love Florida, I do miss Texas;)

I can not believe most don't know this. my gmaw told us at a young age not to take them inside the house heat will make them hatch, and the dummies around here wondering why they have them in the middle of winter. just food for thought have a great day hope you put out a video on something cool with cars soon but also stuff like this is awesome.
