It’s so amusing to me that these peppers have evolved their unholy levels of spicy over thousands of years to ward off their natural predators and instead we go mass harvesting them, drying them out, and consuming them because of this defense mechanism. Funnily enough even the plant itself suffers when making them because the MORE shriveled up the pepper the more spicy it is as its damaging itself to a degree So a round pepper is trash but a shriveled boy gonna hit hard
