Kurn's Tower - Solo Monk Dungeon Crawl - Everquest Project 1999

In today's video, I crawl through Kurn's Tower with my new monk. This is a great newbie dungeon with incredible experience modifiers and great location for any Iksars. I also explored the lower levels which are far less traveled but still pretty fun.

Hearing your son the background reminds me of my nephew when he'd watch me play at about that age. He couldnt wait to get older to play EQ, and he did! Good times.

Great video! Just came back to p99 after 2 years away. I’m thinking of trying an enchanter for the first time. I love to solo. 59 necro, 34 sham, and low lvl monk.

enchanter is a great addition to that soloer line up you have. A little trickier, but so versatile.

Love these. Since death is so punishing, I never explored areas growing up playing eq. It's nice to get to see where to go. I may just have to bring my SK out there for some levels.

Been soloing PC from 1-12 so far but I'm thinking I'm gonna go here today though till I hit round 15ish then gonna go somewhere else.

Kurn's Tower is the best exp in the game pretty much. You can take it to 20 here if you want pretty fast. 15 should be no issue on the first floor.

@@RektYou that's what my guildie was telling me I'm excited I remember the old days of going shroud and farming hundreds of aas their in couple hours pulling from the basement up to the first floor lol.

But now that I'm lvl 16 kurns slowed down tremendously so now it's time for PC hopefully the kills will be faster now.

Hey man, going back and watching your monk videos - I'm currently 14 iksar monk and if I try to take on an even con enemy I get my butt whooped lol. Is that normal? Maybe it gets easier when you get more skills/levels?

At those lvls, gear can make a huge factor. So, unless you're twinked out, more than likely, you'll not be able to take an even con on easily. I stick with low blues when soloing to make things a bit easier

I was lvl 1 in PC absolutely destroying in their multi pulling as well monk lvl 1 had 1k hps lol.

I know it's a year late, but its probably your weight. There's a huge difference if you're underweight versus overweight.

While FD is so low, you should be spamming it every time you can while corpse running. FD, get up run... FD get up run... Anything to raise skill
