Instant Charm Break Hotkeys for Goblin Gazhughi Ring - Everquest Enchanter Advertures - Project1999

In today's video, I breakdown how I hotkey my charm break sequence. This is a common question I receive from fellow enchanters. Hopefully, it helps you see exactly what's happening when I break my charms for maximum experience gain.
A Goblin Gazughi Ring is necessary for this to work like such. The instant invisibility can increase your exp rate by a giant amount. Get one!

Your videos in part were the inspiration to me starting my enchanter on blue! It's been a blast so far, up to level 58. My key bind for using the ring is putting the ring on my "4" key and making a hotkey to target myself and putting that on "0". I bind the "B" key to activate both hotkey 4 and hotkey 0 and mash it when I want to break.

Fellow P99 Green Ench here: What's the purpose of having the GCD (Rod) clicky after using Gazughi? Gazughi itself is an insta-click, so it too would clear the GCD. Works for me without having to add a rod click in there. By default, F1 will cycle between you and your pet. I then have Num1 bound to Gazughi Ring, Num2 bound to "Cycle between last two targets", and then Num3 set to Root. So I do: F1> Num1 > Num2 > Num3 spam. The number of F1's depends on who you currently have targeted. If you already have pet targeted, one F1 will suffice. If you have anything else it could take up to three F1's. Anyway, love the crawl walkthroughs :D

you're right. someone in my guild pointed that out to me as well after I posted this. I didn't realize the GGR did the GCD. It's kind of habit at this point to hit the rod though lol. I keep trying to not do it, btu my finger automatically hits it lol. I play on a mac unfortunately, so my F keys take 2-3 key combos to click lol. I have to set up my keys different than the default to play.

I farmed this ring on blue with my SK months ago, but I never understood why instant breaking of charm was so important- DOUBLE XP! Now I wanna level up my enchanter... :D Edit: You can make your own pet window with macros using the "socials" tab on the window you've got in the bottom right. Just make a /pet health macro and also add that to the end of all the macros you make there.

I'm on P99 Green and I've seen nothing that would let me toggle targets like that.... Is that related to the UI? U say you have the toggle key tied, but tied to WHAT? I haven't really seen a good way to toggle between targets except F1 and F8 which isn't really a toggle. Thanks in advance

you can change your keybinds in the options and the "switch between last target" command is really a must have for dealing with pet, enemy and yourself. Set a select self key also that you know well. Use a tab targeting when not too wide open view. With those 3 key sets, you can really fly through target selection

Great to see to have you back. How did you get one? Last night at EC tunnel people were asking 20k for it. About the same for Clarity 2... Absolute madness. Did you farm it in LOIO? If yes, how long did it take?

I actually paid 23k for mine on day 1 coming back to play lol. That is about 4x higher than it will end up being in a few months, but it's just that valuable to me. I also made a butt load of plat farming high end nameds in the classic stage. So, I could eat that chunk.

that camp is absolutely brutal and I hate it more than any other camp in teh game lol. I've spent maybe 34 hours there without a drop across multiple sittings... and you don't get to take a break for more than 30 seconds the entire time. That's why I bought mine lol

I camped for 25hrs on Green and finally got it. Was worth it though. I would do it again if I lost it. I might do it again sometime for cash.

Nice video! Do you know any good safespots to camp/afk in in howling stones? I always dread breaking into that place.

the break in is the worst. grab a double invis for the safest entrance. Still, a bile golem who sees invis might be up at entrance which negates all that lol. There is a safe spot in the basement right below the north wing stairs. A lot of people camp there. You can also find a few safe spots in the wings... like right at the entrance of the north wing next to the jar. I personally always just throw on an invis and camp up next to the north wing door. 2 golems will be there, but they can't see invis. Just wait for the mid spawns pathing to be near west wing and ae mez. Take it from there without much issue.

woah invis vs animals works against everything?

When it's your pet, it doesn't matter what type of creature it is fortunately for us. Any type of invis or hide will break that bond with the pet. If you had a standard page pet, it disappears. If you have a charmed pet, it's coming to beat you.
