How it is transitive?? When (1,6) is there and (6,sth) is not there; then (1,sth) cannot be determined . Then how can you say the relation is transitive???

A relation is transitive only when if aRb and bRc exists then we need to check for aRc. here in this question, there is no point of discussing about aRc with out bRc. Which implies that there is no counter example to disprove, hence transitive.
