@H3DGEH0G if that's what you think, that's cool, but I got a different vibe. Asking a question like "How do you feel about your child not having a father" to a lesbian couple is quite disrespectful, in my opinion. It's like a caucasian person asking a black British person, "But where are you REALLY from?" The question is irrelevant and wouldn't be the right thing to ask in that situation. I don't know why heterosexual people think these things are okay to say to lgbt couples (well I do) it's a lack of education and lack of respect for the most part. For some people, loaded questions like these can be triggering. There's just a right and wrong way to go about seeking understanding, speaking from experience.
@h3dgeh0g96 Жыл бұрын
@@bekabarz I agree the question coulda been asked in a different way but it can be difficult to ask that question in a nicer way. That might be why alot of them took long pauses before asking questions because we live in a time where people are quick to pounce on you for saying the wrong thing even if you didn’t mean it in a bad way. I wouldnt say “Where are you really from…” hold’s the same weight I’m not gonna lie😂 Ethnicity and race is completely different to sexuality and sexual orientation. You caN CHOOSE your sexuality and sexual orientation but you cannot choose your ethnicity, race or decide where you want to be born. It’s just something you just embrace and adapt to. You can’t be born gay and can’t be born straight in my opinion, you make that choice youself. I think they asked the “Father” question only cos sometimes when you have a son (Which Rhi wants) it can help when a Father, Uncle or a good male friend of your Mother is around to show you how to be a good man

So they have no explanation to their future kid about not having a dad. Saying it will be common is not enough, what if they get jealous as the odd one out out of their friend circles in school ? . Just setting your child up for failure and confusion tbh.
@ten5ive229 Жыл бұрын
It takes a village to raise a kid, as long as the kid has some kind of positive male role model in their life whether it be an uncle or their grandad the kid should be alright. Yh the kid will probably be different and will probably sometimes feel abit out of place but that can also happen to kids that come from two parent homes as well, let’s not act like all heterosexual couples raise kids that are not abit confused about their upbringing.
@Mrfacto1111 Жыл бұрын
@@ten5ive229 confusion about why your parents argue or fight is one thing but confusion about why you don’t have a dad and have 2 moms is a whole different level . Me personally I don’t think it’s fair on the kid because his being forced to be bias towards the lgbtq side of things rather than learn for himself.
@ten5ive229 Жыл бұрын
@@Mrfacto1111 yet people’s raised by heterosexual couples can end up homosexual 🤔 your ideology doesn’t make sense. There would be no bias as the majority of the world is not gay, heterosexuality is everywhere nothing and no one can influence someone’s sexuality. Arguing and disputes is definitely not the only reason kids may be confused lots unusual and strange things happen behind closed doors that could cause harm for a kid. As long as the kid lives with a loving family that educates them and instills good values and beliefs into them there’s no harm being done.

I don't know why you had the two female panelists. They seemed to be an afterthought in the conversation and this was more of an interview... I don't think it was fair to them More lighting is needed on the whole set. The darkness made it seem more cold and stiff. Use more lighting then use the colour filters to give the mood. It is clear, only one panelist did any resesrch and knew who was coming. Otherwise this would mostly have been an intervention for their future parenting plans 😅. The questioning needed far more structure to flow instead of jump around. If each panelist prepares 5 questions, let's say 4 different topics, boom you have a much wider range of discussion ability. You obviously get together to make sure you don't have the same questions plus discuss research etc so you are all prepared for the interview. People kept asking about them not having fathers around for their future children.... is it common for fathers to BE around in reality? Single mothers/baby mothers is a thing. Despite what your religion or personal beliefs dictate, can we not act like the nuclear family isn't in a shambles at best. This is a reality. Least their children will see a reciprocal relationship, in the home, with two parents - that HAS to be better than the current devastation-parenting many people are practising today. Mum struggles whilst dad's missing. I'm not saying they're right or wrong, I just think it's a one sided discussion being had with moral undertones but as a couple people rightly pointed out, it's not an issue when you are going against your own moral compass but those who believe elsewise are the moral issue.
@Zion2-zq1bp Жыл бұрын
they said it themselves lol theyre child would be accepting of having two mums because society pushes it onto them eg in films etc as they said so do they not think its weird sexuality is pushed onto kids
@moniquej3696 ай бұрын
It’s not pushing sexuality onto kids, it’s pushing love and acceptance. Those are two different things! We should all love and respect each other despite our differences. If seeing heterosexual people on television isn’t pushing sexuality, neither is this. Smh. Your logic makes no sense. Also, If having two moms is a common thing by the time their child is born, the child won’t have to feel like an outcast or question why they don’t have a dad. That’s the point they were trying to make.🤦🏽♀️
@asdfqwert7712 Жыл бұрын
25:30 atheists use this logic all the time but forget about the repenting aspect and that God is all forgiving and merciful when atheists point the finger and say but you do this and that and thats not allowed they forget for example muslims pray 5 times a day in repentance repenting is accepting that you have sinned and asking for forgiveness who is someone who abides by no rules or values feel they have the authority to point others out when they are guilty of the exact same things there trying to call them out on
