In my opinion, having been in the entertainment business for so long and having strived hard to be where she is now, Priyanka has forgotten how to show vulnerability. She is afraid of being perceived as weak, hence this perfectly curated persona. We don't get to see signs of her genuine emotions, nor of Nick's, but I think/hope they get to see and know more of each other in their personal lives.

You hit the nail on the head. Yes everyone keeps saying she’s cringe and fake, but this is what’s behind it. Fear to be emotionally vulnerable and authentic. Fear that people in this culture (or world) won’t accept her, so she puts on this tough narcissistic bragging big momma persona that even completely lacks femininity (that she had in her Indian persona). It’s sad. Nick just looks irritated with her most of the time but he has to put up with this large, domineering, loud obnoxious character all the time. It’s too overbearing for him. That was my honest assessment of what I think Nick thinks of Priyanka. He is not even one bit attracted to her. There is zero chemistry and no connection between the two except an arranged marriage. 😂

You don't know what they are going through, posting pictures doesn't make them any less private. It doesn't matter what people think about them and their relationship. Nobody can read or judge anyone's relationship just by watching 1min video specially when you don't even know personally them. Some negative people always find negativity with many doubts while positive people focus more on positivity. It doesn't matter some people doubt on their relationship or can't digest their relationship The fact that like any normal other couples, they are already legally married couple who loves each other, they have mutual respect for each other and happily living together. If somebody believe them or not, they don't have to prove or don't need to impress anyone to make believe if they are really in love or not 🤷

Anthony Recenello I believe that relationship is solid and passionate behind closed doors. Although Priyanka has been in the public for several years she is shy and also restrained when sharing her most intimate information because of her culture and background. Nick is aloof , thats his character but I see the hidden passion in him which only gets to be experienced by those he is very close to..I have no doubt that their relationship is deep.

I saw the actual clip long time ago and all i can say is that they both actually look and feel really relaxed and comfortable, which is one of the most important things in a relationship. I agree the best relationships start as friendships. It removes that facsade of trying to be... acceptable... it just takes off the pressure. I have to disagree about expressing attaction as soon as you feel it. I was immediately attracted to my husband--- both physically and his personality... but I learned he was younger than me and that made me nevous especially considering the age he was (20) and my previous relationship the guy being so immature. Also he had determined not to date for a year and had all these girls interested in him (which I learned later)... so I prob would have scared him off if I bluntly expressed interest/attraction. Though... apparently I was actually making it very clear I was interested in him... because he told me later that before he asked me out he told his mom he was prob going to marry me... and she asked if I'd told him I even liked him and he said "No, but I can tell she does." Talk about bold 😅. Anyway--- we've been married almost 11 years now and have 4 children earthside. He's amazing.

He's ISTJ, having dated one I can assure you they are naturally stoic at times but know how to play it for jokes to not alarm more feeler types. They also see their romantic emotions and feelings as more sacred than most so, they prefer to keep those things private. They also are the stable types hence the 1 year/2 year (it's longer than average bc he's a celeb) period of testing the waters before deciding to take it to the next step. ISTJs don't mind flirting but going steady is a big deal and they need a lot of time to process their emotions and decide. Their Si makes them almost eternally loyal to the people and values they set their heart to so, It's very important they make a good decision. They probs try to act in love because they know the public will think Nick's natural reservedness about PDA will be seen as weird and Priyanka uses her Fe to compensate which ends up looking exaggerated.

I'm not here to act like a total former fan girl, but I can only add in that in all the time I've been a fan of the Jonas Brothers that Nick has ALWAYS been this mature and serious. It's actually rare for me to see him doing comedic things or doing something outside of his bubble. Joe on the other hand is the goofster, and Kevin has always stood out as the quiet passive one. Maybe that's why it's hard to read them. They really do seem like they value their privacy. Even the doc between the brothers opens them up a little more as real people. We will hardly get that kind of openness because if they do open up people will always be talking about them in more ways than they do now.

As an Asian myself we are usually pretty private about our relationship and PDA is not something we do a lot and Nick himself is a super serious and private person so it's hard to see their chemistry in interviews but I truly feel they adore and respect eachother and both of those are very important characteristics needed for a long and happy relationship.

I think it’s important to understand that when it comes to Nick, he grew up on Disney. And they always taught him to be very serious on camera. This was a real superficial take and in some parts completely misleading. They met in person first at the after party but had been texting earlier. They had a whole other separate date because meeting and dating are not the same thing. For a relationship expert, you seem to miss so much context and reading between the lines and subtext. After the newlywed game when they high fived, Nick pulled Priyanka’s chair to him and said see this was not bad or something to that effect. It was clear that Priyanka had some anxiety. Priyanka has been private about her personal life so now when she’s talking publicly she is still guarded. It’s not automatically some indication of their actual relationship behind closed doors. You missed tons of cultural cues.

You should've watched their Instagram post videos and stories and ig lives. They're much more relaxed, adorable and that's how they normally are. The Indian army targeted terrorist training camps in Pakistan, after a dastardly attack on Indian armed forces on Indian soil, so that full on war could be avoided. As an Indian, I have followed priyanka since she came so she has always been a little miss show off but also very private about relationships she never admitted any relationship ever till marriage. I have also known Nick since Disney and he is the serious one. Together they have hot chemistry which is visible in the wedding vedios they are into each other. But on camera pc is more bubble and Nick is quite. I think they are a great couple that would last. They compliment each other. Its pc who likes to show off the love ❤

It all depends if the attraction is there cuz u can’t force it..: u can nurture it but can’t force energy that isn’t there... I started out friends with my fiancé, best friends, but the attraction was always there we just didn’t get together as a couple for other life reasons at the time but we knew everything about each other, laughed so hard together, had so much fun and felt like we knew eachother from another life- the first day we met we ended up lying on the floor laughing for hours... basically what I mean is if the energy is there, it’s there, and if it isn’t it isn’t!

I personally don't know much about Nick but I have been a fan of priyanka since forever and I thing that I have noticed about her is that she is a very private person she doesn't like to share that much of her personal life details in the media also what I have noticed is that after she got married she started chilling a little bit and being a little more fun and goofy so that's why you will see more of her giggling and smiling because she is enjoying her married life ❤️ and I don't think you can judge a relation by just watching them on screen I love them both and I hope their marriage lasts forever ♾️❤️

So Nick apparently had crush on Priyanka (he says even remembers watching her win Miss World) and one of his friends knew her and said he'll introduce her to him but didn't so he apparently slid into DMs and they began a flirty friendship. He then physically met her the 1st time at the oscar after party (he admits he was kind of tipsy which his brother said he was definitely) and pretty much ask her out. They went to Met Gala 2017 as friends together and then went on "date" where he met her mom but he kind of accidentally friendzoned her cause instead of kissing her, he gave her pat on the back (he said he was trying to be respectful cause her mom was there) but it confused her though. So apparently they both get busy and fall out of touch but see each other again at Met Gala 2018 and then began seriously dating. I'm sorry I just never saw any real connection between these two, nothing intimate . At least not from his side, it seems as though she was the one who was more eager for this relationship. Yes, everyone says he is a very serious guy, but I know serious men who don't display much emotion but when the woman they love is in their presence you see it in the way he looks at her. Not big gestures of affection, but the care, respect, intimacy and love that shines through.

I feel like they are both so in tune with their true selves and have overcome their coping mechanisms which other celebrities rely on when doing interviews in the public eye (like joking when nervous or over sharing etc). Either they’ve had a lot of therapy and decided to be that way as a sign of security in themselves or they genuinely do not want to reveal much about their relationship. I always felt their relationship seemed staged and not genuine, you really can't sense any chemistry and wonder whats going on with these too. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. People can be very private but you can usually sense the appeal or connection. Even introverts can give off chemistry with minimal words. Also not talking about her chemistry with actors onscreen, but the the vibe she has with onscreen actors, behind the scene. Obviously a movie is make belief.
