Every stage requires a different version of yourself and that's how we evolve. You can never be the same person as you were when you were dating, you guys are now parents so there's a shift from being Mpumi or just Brenden. You are now Nuri's parents. As for myself I'm married and I'm a mother.

We are in the dating stage; it's only been 6 months so far and it is wonderful. We are already in parenthood🙈🙈 He and I each have daughters, so we slowly learning each others parenting skills, but he's an exceptional dad. We have been speaking of transitioning to marriage but finances dont allow as yet; but also it may be a bit too early... We are just hoping and praying for the best in our relationship. Being *comfortable* in a marriage is common and it takes over without knowing. It's important to always acknowledge your partner, keep things fresh by always being intentional by going back to the basic- whatever it was that made you both happy, and to also remember to show affection nd attention to the other person's love language. Prioritizing myself is something I’ve started doing and it does a huge difference to the day and my wellbeing in general. This was absolutely beautiful. I am single, happily so. I started this year on a rocky phase but then I journaled down everything I want to see this year. I eventually dedicated this year to me and calling it me-year. This means that everything I do I ask myself if it is beneficial for me and how so. I must admit it's not easy but it keeps me aware of everything happening and I've found it even helped in my relationship with friends and family. The only way I believe I've even been able to do everything is only because God is God. Love you guys

Ahh.. Thank you for this guy's. It puts my heart at ease a little. Well.. Me and hubby were in courtship for a year and a half when we had out white wedding. He proposed a month after we met. Paid lobola a month after that. Then we were in marriage phase for 4 years. We are about to transition into parenthood, due soon. And everything is already about the baby. Hope we will find a balance.

Transitioning into the marriage phase sometimes I just think about it an panic a little, because I think of all these responsibilities that are involved and worry on whether I’ll be able to handle things because I tend to bottle things then explode later.
