This happened with my now husband and me when we were dating. We essentially broke up due to issues/things I wasn't willing to compromise on, but we stayed best friends (my sister says we never broke up because we still hung out all the time), and through that time, we grew as people and in our relationships with God and each other. I got to know him better than I would have if we were together because we didn't feel like we needed to show each other our "perfect" sides. We started being more honest with each other about our struggles and issues and really learning each other better. We started falling more in love with each other, despite not kissing, holding hands, etc. and we got back together less than a year later. I saw how I truly was the only one for him and how much he was willing to grow as a person so as to not lose what we had. His love for me showed me more of what God's love is like. We have now been together for 12 years and married for almost 6. ❤ If it is meant to be, it will be.

Thank you for sharing this and congratulations to you an your husband❤ I went through something similar with my now fiancé and as hard as it was because we still lived together, we grew as people both together and as our own person. We have now been together for over 16years and are finally engaged. A relationship takes work and sometimes we need to hit the pause button on one part to make the other parts better. The strength, and wisdom it takes to make those decisions on a mature and rational way is incredible and I pray anyone who is going through something like this or any type of relationship struggles finds the lord and light and love and guidance through that chapter of their journey. I’m sorry, but this is such a weird way to try to repair a relationship. Going back to the friend zone after dating 2 years is not going to fix anything in the long run. Go to couples therapy to work through problems. Not talking for a month and then starting over isn’t going to fix your issues in the relationship. It’s not my place to get involved in someone else’s relationship. But one thing I’ve learned from parents and mentors is that no one is 100% perfect for you, sometimes not even 70% but they still can be the love of your life. So many people spend so much time trying to “find love”. But the reality is that we already have it, it’s the receiving of God’s perfect love that allows us to love others. Growing up, I could see my parents weren’t perfect for each other, but they chose to love each other regardless of their differences. They’ve been together 30 years not because they didn’t have any differences or difficulties but because they chose to love each other with the love God has given them. i’ve been in a similar situation, and it’s hard. my guy and i have caved too and sometimes i feel really guilty about it, i don’t know if God thinks it’s wrong.. ? i see him three times a week and we don’t talk (there’s a reason for that) and we’ve been separated over two years now, and amazingly, but from what we have said to each other when we caved, it’s apparent that we both still love each other and we want to get married and do it right. i’ve just been very encouraged by kristin and noah’s openness about what they’re going through, it helps me with my situation, and i’m grateful!

Everyone has their own ways of 'taking a break and we do what works for us, I've done my own and it was very different, we lived together and worked together we just made sure that when we were home we had our own spaces to be alone, and it worked for us we have been together for 16 years and counting❤ you don't need to Share any specific information on why you both chose to do this that's between yourselves and God and ur families if they know the reason, but somethings don't need to be shared with ur fans who are essentially strangers. I get where you are coming from but speaking from experience taking time to oneself to grow or heal can actually help a relationship, my boyfriend I did something similar we lived and worked together but when we were both home we had our own space to be alone and did not talk to eachother for a month, we took time to change/fix/heal/grow ourselves and the things that were hurting our relationship. We are now engaged and have been together for over 16years. Had we not done what we did during our 4th year together I don't think we would have stayed together. So I think what Noah and Kcup are doing is a vary mature and wise thing to do, yes it hurts but it also heals. They are real people not just youtubers and as much as people want them to start making couple videos again they need to make sure they as people, together or apart, are in a good place. Have patience and support them through this. They do not have to share their lives (together or apart) with us, they do not owe us anything and it's a privilege that we get to see what they show us. 😊❤
