Paul, great interview. You managed to make Scotty boy feel relaxed. He is clearly one who marches to the beat of his own drum, but your presence and demeanor obviously calms his mind, he readily admits on his channel he likely suffers from ADHD, OCD and other challenges psychologically. While many who have not watched his channel will think he lacks focus and attention, your presence and interview style allowed him to relax. I have been watching u both a long time. Keep up the great work exposing the world to life in the Philippines. I will be flying to Davao next week, then onto Leyte via motorcycle. Thanks for your great work!

I watched enough of the Scotty Boy to be amazed that he has that many loyal followers... Just listen to what he says in this video. Maybe try writing in out and reading it aloud yourself. A 45 year old teachers saying out loud that he only likes the young girls? He likes when the young girls from the villages leave home to the college where they no longer have the close support of their family? Maybe you could balance your listening time with the complete interview with Jack Reynolds as he describes how to pick children he was interested in... Kinda makes regular guy's interviews pretty creepy as he profiles the youngest women he can pay to interview... I hope I am wrong! 6:50 18:30 listen carefully this time?
@mrrobert177 Жыл бұрын
@@ndyajeff I have never heard regular guy express an interest in underage girls? If he did point it out for us all. I see u are a follower of Tim K like I am as well. Tim got his young province gf pregnant at 18 when he was almost 40...u obviously are ok with that as a follower? So what are u criticizing 45 years old regular guy about? Comparing him to a convicted pedo is unfair and outrageous unless u have some additional info I don't have. Hope no one ever goes after u dude for something u said that maybe wasn't as clear or as artful as it could have been.

Mr Roberts Did you listen to the interview I mentioned? If not why did you even bother responding ? My concerns are clear and when you seem similar behavior is it obvious... Since you chose to not respond directly to my comments but instead engaged in "what about ism" that tells me you have closed closed mind. So again why bother even mentioning me when your mind is closed, you responded to me comments emotionally, and never investigated what I was talking about? As for me, YES if I am online spewing equally questions comments and behavior please call me out !!! Be a real man and question potentially bad behavior ...
@ndyajeff Жыл бұрын
7:57 "The girls in the area is kinda a deciding factor if I am going to live there or not" He is speaking about college age girls, many who are away from home for the first time? Potentially a bit sheltered as many woman in PI told me they never even rode in a car before they were in their 20's much less driven a car. You don't see that as questionable? Especially given his other comments? Speaks way more about you that you would probably like, and I am very happy with what is says about me putting the questions on the table! Act like that in the western world and the Police will have a file on you very quickly...

I like Scott (I refuse to call a middle aged man Scotty boy) because he is as awkward as I am around people. Being Canadian, tall, anxiety driven, and uncomfortable around new surroundings and new people, makes for a strange adventure seeker more adept at hiding in a room under his covers. Scott is a breath of fresh air when compared to vloggers who boast, bragg, and extoll on their accomplishments and virtues of being the CEO of the past.

I started with Paul and then for the last month I got stuck on Scotty's Regular Guy channel and watched it daily. It's fun to see the two of you together. Especially, with the recent Duma drama that has sprung up. Not many people have a chance to try out so many places and is content to take his time to find that perfect place and women. There are women in any town, so find the town you want and live and find a lady from that area. Filipina want to be close to their roots and families, in most cases anyways and will want to live close or have to be able to travel back. The right women in the right town would definitely lead to long time happiness. I love how Paul's channel has become the go to channel to meet and understand so many people.

The Scotty Boy dude is actually telling the truth when he says he wants a perfect situation. He's after perfection.... Perfect Filipina and the perfect place. I've been trying to do that for my whole adult life and now I'm 50 years old. He is only 5 years younger than me. He's running out of time. I believe a person should have standards, but perfect shouldn't be the standard. Instead of expecting perfection from other people, maybe he should become perfect. Oh wait! The regular guy isn't so regular, he's a player who's been far and wide so his expectations are very high and broad. He actually reminds me of myself. You can never be satisfied if you've been everywhere and been with so many girls.

I'm new in your box. But not new to the tropics. You have very interesting channels, thank you! Especially today's topic! My English is poor, but you probably know that if a blogger has nothing to show, then he will talk a lot. But not in your case - this topic is really very interesting and important, even for those who know that you can live well here with just a partner, and not a PATIENT wife. In the end, we are all here for the sake of our health, and this must be honestly said first of all to ourselves. Especially when you are 60 years old.

I was 22 when arriving but now 28. Dating isn't hard. I think older guys have a mindset of getting as many peaches as they can as the Regular Guy stated and most young guys know that we can do that in our own countries so there's no point. We are often looking for a traditional woman

Great interview Paul. As the interviewee Scotty, you were interesting, engaging, well spoken, informative and funny. We don’t always get to see that much of that side of you on your channel when you’re traveling day to day. My guess is that when you start settling down in a place on a more long term basis, we’ll see more of that side of you, or at least I hope we do. You’ve learned a lot in your travels through the Phils and you have a wealth of insight and information to share. Paul - very thoughtful interview.

Thanks Paul - that was a good interview with Scottie boy. I watch regular guy too and really like him - he strikes me as a very much “regular guy”… yes, he’s got his eyes open for the girls, but he doesn’t strike me as disrespectful or as someone out to sexually profiteer from a girl’s poverty. He’s also very open-book with his life story and KZbin journey (including showing his earnings each month), which can be quite interesting. I’m glad he’s slowly moving to a more settled pace - I was one of his viewers who constructively criticised the 1 day-1 town model. Anyway - thanks for the great upload!

I married my wife from surigao area. These people are extremely poor and would not let me near her if all I was there was for to meet the "babyroonies"as he says when he is going to go look for girls.Sorry if he feels slighted but first thing if you are truly looking for long term relationship is to show RESPECT. Paul has shown how to find a woman and gotten love and possibly respect back. The first 10 years my wife was here in the USA she constantly would ask if I would let a person I talk to here if I would say that she was filipino. This comes from stories that came from our older cousin with lies about them , being " lbfm". Paul you are old as I a and know what I mean.Filipinas know about the soldiers who just were players. Scott I think you are not on Paul's level yet. Maybe you will find someone like baby. But the first thing is to genuinely show respect.

Is he the fella that continually refers to himself in the third person? He is very… very wordy, and seems to be very much into himself. Those qualities, in my humble opinion, would make finding the “perfect partner” more challenging. But hey, I have certainly been wrong before, so who knows, I might actually like him if I could get a word in edgewise.

Excellent interview, Paul. I really enjoyed Regular Guy's review of his travel to Malaybalay and now plan to visit there when I get out to the Philippines. However, I'd stay there for a month and not just a day or two. I think his plan to change to month long visits to areas of interest is much better for evaluating how a place is and if one might want to retire there. Only spending a day or two is just not enough time to explore the area and leads to a rushed visit, which in my retirement, I'd like to travel slow, relax and enjoy my non-rushed time visiting. Hopefully, he'll continue doing these visits to unheard of places that could be good retirement destinations or vacation trips as he continues vlogging. I subscribed today to his channel & look forward to seeing additional affordable travel & retirement content as he travels around visiting the Philippines.

It is true and studies have shown likewise that the more partners you had the less chance you end up with a stable relationship let alone stable longterm marriage. If this man keeps dating girls one after the other finding the ‘perfect’ one he will end up alone delusionaled.
